Some Insight from an 18yo in 2022, Like every good band, theres some songs that arent good/arent as good/dont go as hard. It happens. But that combined with it becoming trendy to hate nickelback, along with them beefing with bigger names in rock (ie the slipknot era) However, Nickelback is downloaded on my phone and Im proud of it. Bc If I like something everyone else hates Im unique and thats cool. XD
Still strikes me as funny that even with him singing lyrics like “coca cola roller coaster” and “she’s on everybody’s faces” or “what’s wrong with right here on the counter” all together plus him talking about needing to stay awake somehow and how there’s got to be a better way to come down-that people think this song is about love or lust, instead of cocaine.. Y’all probably think Molly and Mary Jane are people, too. 😂

Odd.
