Friend! I know we talk all day everyday but this video made me realize how much I’ve missed seeing your face!! Thank you for continuing to share your life, flowers, and knowledge with all of us! We SO appreciate you!! ❤❤❤
Hi Jesse. Your floral designing skills are just getting better and better. You inspire me so much on setting a goal and achieving it. Hoping one day we will meet and arrange together again. Sending love from here 😘🥰 ❤❤❤
What a gorgeous video! It IS a great feeling to start to master something. There’s so much pride in growing beautiful flowers. Thanks for the update on E. What an absolute champ. We pray for her every day over here and are wishing her and you all the best.
Your doing great with your flowers! So pretty! Who would of thought the Cosmo's are your best seller. I love the Stock!! Praying for your little girl that God heals hee. I pray the Lord helps you with your business and you prosper!! Great job!!
Hi Jessie, 100% agree with marigolds, they are such a workhorse. I succession plant White Swan first and then Coco Gold which will then go all the way to frost. The Floret zinnias (Golden Hour & Alpenglow) have been such an unexpected success, and I find the colours so easy to work with. The Floret celosia less so, but I think it's because of too much shade - my trees have grown so much with all the rain we have had in the last 2 years (Zone 5 in Qc). I still have some seeds so I will try it again next year, in a sunnier spot. Thanks for sharing an update about E. Glad to see her cute personality shining through. Thinking of you all 💪🧡
Jess, so true about C&C warm flowers! I have beautiful purple zinnia'z that I've been cutting from since early May! Every time they look pooped I fertilize with flower fertilizer. Less N more P& K and they bounce back! No powdery mildew. Loads of air flow. Thanks for sharing about E. Continued prayers. The flower patch is lookin' beautiful❤
Girl, I'm on the Marigold train with you 100%! I've also grown White Swan, along with Coco Gold and the huge Orange, and i love them all! They just keep blooming! And everyone loves them! I saw Johnnys came out with a new deep orange, and I'm definitely adding that one next year!
Yes!!! I’m definitely growing more white swan next year. A few other growers at my co-op do orange. I’m hoping floret breeds more wedding palette marigold colors 😊
@@bareflowerfarm that would be amazing! She just posted something the other day about all the different Marigold varieties she trailed this year, and there were so many amazing, beautiful varieties I've never even heard of! I used to think of Marigolds as the small flower I added into my veggie garden for pest control, but this year, I think they were my favorite flower I grew! They are all gorgeous!
This was such a helpful video! I know it isn’t everyone’s goal, but I’m extremely interested in selling wholesale. Thank you for this information. I’m so pleased with the value of your patreon membership. So helpful!
Frat video as always. Your deer are bold to be that close to you! Curcumin is gorgeous. Reminds me of when I lived in Hawaii. My ageratum was pretty short this year so I just left it to reseed. Maybe next year. First year trying. Excited to see the Patreon post and hear about cosmos success. The double click cranberry are gorgeous too. I’m trying not to buy any more seeds but if I did I would add the double click pink and white and purple and white. Maybe next year…
Once E naps today, the first Patreon post is getting published! Also, I will send you double click seed. I will have sooo many!! You lived in Hawaii?! That’s so awesome!
Thanks for the update. So good to see her just chugging along happy through all of this. I think cosmos greens and explosion grass have been my heavy hitters lately along with sedums which seem to go into every bouquet
@@bareflowerfarm for three years. My son was born there. There are just fields of ginger growing wild there and we would often cut a few stems because the smell is amazing. Thanks for the seeds. That is so generous. Just tuck them in with the anemones. Btw. I have anemones coming back out of dormancy now so we’ll see if there is time for a fall bloom
@@bareflowerfarm August was slow which was just as well as the heat wave slowed the production anyway, but September is back on track. Aug and Sept are usually my best months. The beginning of the flower season was above normal so the slow August, while not great, did not really affect my over all year of sales by much. I have to say that as slow as the dahlias where in July and August during the heat wave, my Camelia did worse back in Mar/Apr. due to the couple of nights that were much colder than we normally get. It pretty much killed most of the buds, those that bloomed shattered has soon as they were touched. What has saved my year is the new additions of hyacinths, as well as Globemaster and Ambassador alliums, and snapdragons that I like. i didn't like all but one of the ones I tried out the past two years.
I grew marigolds and the main stems are SO THICK they are basically not usable. Thank you for the pinching tip! Also succeeded with my ageratum, what a great plant!!!
@@bareflowerfarm I'll try the white swan next year along with pinching!! Thank you, praying for your family. My son had 2 craniopharyngiomas when he was young. I feel and see your pain, I am so sorry.. no one especially a child should have to endure this. You are a strong woman!!! We have to be, didn't we!!! Much love to you 3♥️♥️♥️
Amazing cut flowers!! I ❤ how logical you are about growing. I am just starting my beds in order to grow cut flowers for next year, and I have saved so many videos from you and Crane @cranerygardens. Thank you for all your knowledge, and you and your beautiful family are in my prayers ❤ every day. Hon, please blur out your license plate...unfortunately its not safe to show those things. ❤❤ from 🇨🇦 That was a praymantis ( my spelling is off lol) not a grasshopper!!! VERY good luck to see them!! 👏 👏
Thank you! I have learned so much from Crane. My visit to his place had quite an impact on me. That is so exciting to start. Every season provides us the opportunity to reset and dream for next year 🤩
I would love to know how to set up and sell bouquets at a small farm store? Do you have a video on how you did that and how it works. If you haven't made a video on that can you? Asters would be a great addition for fall.
I am very interested in the flower subscription process. People are ok with picking up flowers? I would think they would want them delivered. What if they forget to bring back the vase from the previous month?
No pinching for me! This was my discovery- if you grow them well, the first cut isnt even a pinch bc you will get a ton of branching side shoots from the get go. The first cut just encourages more growth but you could totally get 10 stems before a single pinch if that makes sense.
I always find Americans just have better flowers than us in the UK I mean those marigold are just 🤩 and here we are with the tiniest marigold with horrible bright yellow and orange colour.
Lol! I think you may be able to find the same seeds as us - look for xochi which creates really big heads. The white swan are big but not as big as xochi!

I’m a cut flower farmer wants to be and I love seeing your garden and your works! Praying for your daughter and your whole family.
Thank you, hopefully next year you will make your cut flower farmer dreams come to life 💜
You have evolved into quite a wonderful teacher and flower farmer . Please believe in the power of prayer..It is surrounding your loving family ❤

When you are able, you should get some greens growing in the tree line. Ferns, ninebark, euonymus, forsythia, mints...
I have tried and the deer ate nearly all the seedlings 😭😭😭
Just lovely. Keep it up as your strength allows. You bring joy and knowledge to so many. 😊❤

My stock grew better now than in early spring! Thanks for sharing about your growing it for fall. It encouraged me!
Ironic right! I’m curious to see how this stock performs in the spring
Found your channel from Cranery Garden. Sending prayers 🌼🐝

I would love to hear more about your experience growing the quartet series stock!
We are going to see if I can replicate it in the spring and I’ll do a video based on learnings

Adding Foliage, even Mint, would greatly improve your Vase arrangement, and really show the beauty of your flowers 😊
Also you would need to use less high value product .... the flowers 😊
Way to go on the cosmos!!🎉
