This is exactly what I did after reaching my goal weight with OMAD last fall! Now I feel really comfortable with my new wardrobe, and shopping is super easy when I can take my color palette with me. It's also curbed my online shopping tendencies, because I hate the hassle of returning stuff when I realize the color isn't quite right. I also guessed you're a summer - ever since I had my own analysis done, I'm always instinctively categorizing people into color seasons.
I'm so glad you did this! $275 seems like a bargain when moving forward and building a wardrobe. You are really blossoming as a RUclipsr! I wish you the best success!
Also so glad you did this analysis! I appreciate you venturing out of IF content and mix in related topics like dressing after weight loss!❤ You look great!
OMG! I love this! Way back when I was in my 30's, we had consultants around my area that did this. It was called Color Me Beautiful. I was working in an office environment and wanted to look my best, so I had it done (I forgot my season - boo hoo) .Like, who forgets their season, right?? LOL. I don't think it was $275, but I remember it was expensive for me at that point in time. So, I think the cost is well worth it, to be able to buy the colors that make you feel confident. Great video. Loved it.
If you remember any of the colors they recommended you, or any other pertinent information, you may be able to reconstruct which color you are based on matching the descriptions of each season 😉 Worth a try?!
@@kefirheals7383 ...you very well could be a winter! If I remember correctly, Winters are the darkest of the dark (black, jewel tones) and the lightest of the lights (white, light pastels)...if I was you, I would Google what a Winter is and see if it looks accurate...also, most people are naturally attracted to the colors they look best in 😉 Good luck, I hope you figure it out (again)!
I’m always intrigued by the idea of having a season but as a makeup artist I always tell clients there are no rules! If you love something and it’s not officially your color that’s ok too! It’s nice to have a guide though
What a fun video! You really did look amazing in your standout colors. Oh -- I really like postmark and even eBay for trying out new looks etc as I'm refreshing my wardrobe.
This was fun! I feel like I had one done when I was younger…..not sure how or why! haha I think mom knew someone and she came over and did ours. It was so long ago I don’t remember the results though.
Thanks so much for sharing your experience. It seems really interesting and fun. I wonder if changing hair color will throw your colors off. I grew out my natural color to gray/white and now find that beige and browns look terrible on me!
Yes!!! Thankfully my hair color matches my season, but she had me in the bonnet so my dyed hair didn’t get in the way! She did say your natural hair should always be complimentary to your colors
I have saved so much money since my analysis (in 2017!) on clothes that I would have bought but never worn. And makeup! So much makeup left at the store. It's like appetite correction for shopping. My analyst was Sarah at Color with a Purpose (Nebraska) and I plan on taking my kids, nieces and nephews for their graduation present.
Love this! Exactly what Sue said, if I wear black best away from face. I bought some slate denim pants recently and feel like goes really well with summer colors and isn’t right next to face.
Awwww, that is such a beautiful gift that you could give your daughters. What a loving mom! I know I would've loved something like that!
Oh how fun! This will be fun as you restyle post fasting weight loss and stable maintenance. I'm glad you're taking us along.🙂

I had my colors done in college. It makes it very nice when you go shopping. You can avoid looking at certain colors that aren’t complimentary.

@@joniandblu I'm olive skinned. I think the consultant said I was a winter. But I can't be sure. Fuschia and Purple were two of the colors I remember.

I would say soft summer too because how well u wear gray and have neutral tones in your eyes...fun video!!

great suggestions! Thank you :)
What a great idea yu had abd I wish yu well as yu move forward ❤
I am my summer as well. I had mine done years ago, but I do know exactly what you're saying.
You always look fabulous!
You’re too nice!! 💕
How fun! What a treat
It really did feel that way!
Here in Indiana, the stylists charge about $100 more

@@FastingFoodie That’s great to know! 🙂
I'm guessing Soft Summer (if it's a Sci/Art analyst).
Ha! Knew it :) Soft black is okay! Especially for shoes and away from the face. Well-faded black or slate gray. (sci/art true summer here).

Wow! What did you look up to find a service like this around you?
I saw it originally as something online, I just googled “color analysis Kalamazoo MI”. House of Colour is throughout the United States though!
I haven't watched the video but I bet you're a summer.
good guess!! What made you think that?!
@@FastingFoodie I would have guessed that also because of your skin tone and eyes.
@@agithehun I knew nothing about it going in! You guys are good!
Glad you did this, what a fun reference to have 👏👑💜
