You can recover your photos in private album by activating fingerprint pw on your privacy password. this tutorial doesnt work on MIUI13 and above. You cant open the files or photos after locating the said hidden folder. So go to settings > passwort and security > click fingerprint (insert your phone pw) > then activate privacy password. @@svetislav233 nisam mislio na taj nacin, mislio sam da li postoji nacin da ih odatle prebacim u obicne foldere ali nema veze, video sam da xiaomi ima njihov sajt preko kojeg moze se pristupiti galerija preko bilo kog uredjaja, cak i privatni album bez sifre za njega. Potrebna je samo sifra Mi Naloga.

When I unhide some photos from Private album to the folder of gallery, all photos disappeared. They are not in the hidden album nor in the folder of gallery. My mob is redmi note 4 and it has miui 11.0.2

I encountered an issue where not all the files I added in my secret album was uploaded to cloud. I checked the MUIU Cloud folder via file manager and the files in question are there in an album named .secretalbum. However, the file format changed and is only playable in my file manager and not recognized in other devices and no longer accessible in the private album gallery. The file name changed and starts with {-sec-}. Has anyone encountered the same issue and is there a way to recover the files

If it has the ending ".img" you can rename the file by changing the extension to ".jpg" to recover the photo or .mp4 For videos, the hack no longer works on miui 13
