The Petrol pot is not titanium, it's anodized aluminum.

I use this pot with a Soto windmaster triflex, quicker but more importantly it’s more fuel efficient for longer sections so I can take just one small canister. Moved from a toaks titanium pot with MSR pocket rocket, so this setup is slightly heavier but worth the lower anxiety on fuel usage

Nice looking system. I have had pots before with the fins. They serve to created more surface area for flame contact. Kind of like turning a four inch pot base into a ten inch base. Probably also serves to contain more of the heat under the pot. Nice review. Thanks.

I just ordered this pot along with the 116T stove to mount through my Pomoly G2 table. Fire Maple should implement a hole in their table to mount stoves with the tank underneath. It's a great setup.

    Thanks for sharing.
The pot is Hard Anodised Aluminium.
Bent my BRS supports to be radial (from Tangental). But sent off for a FireMaple burner with a clip on clip off Tri Flex type support (ala Soto WindMaster), it all works great.
    Very pleased
    Take care

Thank you for this video. Yes, the fins are for even heat distribution by thermal dissipation.

Looks like a good stove with some interesting features like the fold out supports that fit into the pot.
But, I already have a JetBoil and the benefits of the Petrol aren't enough to offset the cost of me buying another stove at $80.
If i was in the market for buying my first pot stove, the Petrol would be a good option.

How is the stove in the wind?

It occurred to me the locking stove advantage could also be a disadvantage. While the pot is less likely to be accidentally knocked off the stove, the trade off is you're now risking knocking the stove over together with the pot. Instead of just having water or food spilled, you could also have an active jet flame on the loose, especially since the canister can roll when on its side. A canister stand would at least keep it from rolling.
