But there's a classic trumpet 50 smile. sorry, it does work. And I meant to say style. It's got this classic trumpet 50 style that I like. A style that sounds like herb albert, and some 50s artists. You know, the kind like you hear in the 50s and 60s instrumentals.
Can I use my laptop and the usb connector to input a REALLY GOOD HAMMOND B3 SOUND. I cant quite get the right sound on this. Or will my amp help create that sound better

I am in eclipse chicago pink floyd tribute band and the new keyboard player has everything on computer. If the computer doesnt work he gets no sound on keyboards and he has all those wonderful pink floyd sounds, but he also works for apple. I rely on my yamahas and their speakers and amps to play mine but theres got to be a way to input sounds from a computer to my keyboards too.
Sorry for the late reply I sold the dgx230 and bought a dgx500 88 key which is just an upgrade from the dgx230 I would consider the dgx500 if you want one
I sold the 235 and got a DGX500 has the same sounds just 88 keys instead of 76. I like the Yamaha because of the good sounds when hooked up to a decent amp and the price is right compared to roland. Plus the built in rhythm machine is kinda cool too.
when i press the key soft it make a low voice and when i press it hard it makes a louder voice is there any function or button that makes the sound equal if i pressed hard or slow its the same not higher or lower sorry for my bad english
I had a Juno 60 and a sequential circuits prophet 600, sold them both when I moved out of the states for a while, I kick myself every day for that. Oh ya... I also sold a Roland TR 909 drum machine..........I'm am IDIOT!!!!........sigh

Yes this and most lest expensive keybord sounds sound much better through an amp.

@@ellenbacklin I never tried inputting sounds or adding to the built in library of sounds amd not sure you can. I only used the built in sounds.

Keys are velocity sensitive so no the harder you press the key the more dynamic it will be.

+arnebarnard Had volume control, but you can not control control paning unless you run it though a mixer then you can do what you want.
