      @HistoryRemindsUs no worries. It was a good time. We drove from Vincennes, Indiana to watch it. One of my 3rd Greats was present at Lee and Gordon Mills, Brock Field, and Brotherton Farm. 31st Indiana Co. G, Crufts Brigade.

    I hate how that name, the name of our Cherokee chickamauga ancestors is now associated with that awful war between settlers for control of slaves.

      I mean the civilized tribes also had slaves at this time too. Although it was most likely because they were forced to reform to America’s way of life. All I’m trying to say is that the natives weren’t very innocent either and were very much associated to begin with. They still owned slaves and mostly fought for the confederates, that’s just the fact. 👍👍
