    Hey man I know this isn't one of you exhaust videos but I wanted to keep it on a fresh video.. I just brought a complete 5.3 and want to start fabbing the hot side but I have no idea if you can Flux weld the cast steel manifolds. I have tried Flux on cast iron and it just cracked and I'm not sure if cast steel is the same or not. Do you have any experience with this or know of anyone who does. I have the titanium 125. Any feed back is appreciated and keep up on the video's, you have a solid thing going on here.

    When should you use lash caps? Thanks.

    • @quick-performance-services
      @quick-performance-services Год назад

      that's the next step after setting up the valve springs. you use lash caps to adj the rocker arm geometry and clearance between rocker and retainer when milling heads when re-using stock pushrod length ect or milling of ohc motors. you shouldn't need to use lash caps if you do your math right .

    Did you check the retainer to seal clearance ?

    • @TPVPRO
      @TPVPRO 7 месяцев назад

      These heads will support over 700 lift it's not even close to that. You really only have to check that on stock heads.
