Hey guys. I know I mentioned in the video being subscribed to WickedBinge, and I was back when I made the video, but I am not subscribed to them anymore, so just wanted to make that clear.
Thank you for commenting on my Ruby Gillman video earlier. I finally found some time to watch one of these and it didn’t disappoint. CinemaSins really does try to argue against how movies show character development by suggesting changes that would make that development worse. And I’m surprised how similar your method of sins videos is compared to mine. You’ve earned a subscription from me. Keep up the good work.
Honestly, this film made Puss in Boots look like he lives in Japan. (Animation-wise that is) I'm even imagining him saying: 勇気があるなら、私を恐れてください! (Fear Me, If you Dare in Japanese)
8:16 The point was Jeremy making a pop culture reference that isn't a sin of the movie. Apparently someone hasn't seen or heard of The Neverending Story.
"Except Death is the physical embodiment of death itself and cant be defeated regardless" You could probably at least "stalemate" him if you wish for immortality though.
I know you won't do requests for a while now, but I just thought I would ask. Could you eventually do EWW CinemaSins for Night at the Museum 1 and 2, since I love the franchise?
11:02 YOU SINNED THE MOVIE FOR HAVING A NUANCELESS VILLAIN LIKE 20 SECONDS AGO!! But also, I’d say he does have nuance, given his (later) speech about how he has zero semblance of a tragic backstory to explain his villainy, something that a lot of villains have. He’s a riff, evil for the sake of being evil.
12:00, only if Puss wished for immortality with the star he essentially could have defeated him. (Yes, I know him doing that would ruin the movie’s message.)
I have that one on my list, but it’s not going to be next, because I’ve already decided what my next three videos will be before I go back to doing videos that I want to do.
0:48, actually I’m with Jeremy on this one. Sure we need the logo to tell us who made the movie but extending the length of the logo to brag about the other movies they already made is 1) redundant (since we already have the main logo and 2) annoying because logos taking longer than necessary is frustrating
6:58 I don't understand the reason for sin 126. Cinema Sins didn't say Guillermo del toro's film was the only Pinocchio movie of the year. He said it was the best. Pointing out the existence of Disney's Pinocchio remake and Pinocchio: a true story isn't a refutation of the sin. Also both of the movies were so bad that a short Pinocchio cameo blows them out of the water in terms of quality.

1:41, what do you mean by “these types of movies”? Since if you mean kids’ movies then Puss in Boots 2 acts like it’s not a kid’s movie enough that that defence doesn’t work. And if you mean animated movies, not every animated movie is for kids such that the medium should not itself be a guarantee of protagonist survival
Another great video. My favorite part was when you put your thumb in the pie you made to prove the "burning thumb" sin wrong.
Actually, I didn’t make that pie, but glad you liked the video.

I agree with the Boss Baby statement the spot should have gone to Megamind
I would've put Jack Frost.
11:38 facts!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (after watching this amazing film I did value life and will still value it until my time)
Honestly, this film made Puss in Boots look like he lives in Japan. (Animation-wise that is) I'm even imagining him saying: 勇気があるなら、私を恐れてください! (Fear Me, If you Dare in Japanese)
If Birdman ever covers this video i hope he includes the pie scene and shows your clip about it
Agreed
1:40 - Um...Puss only loses one of his nine lives in this movie. The others shown are flashbacks, so they don't count.
7:03, those five seconds were the best Pinocchio movie of the year by default. Del Toro’s movie changes nothing in that regard
5:17, I assume anthropomorphic cats can grow that kind of feline facial hair but non-anthropomorphic cats can’t
these are so underrated 😭
Off to find new adventures and to see some old friends that heavily implies that there will be a shrek 5 and idk about you but I’m all in for that
I have a suggestion
Ewww: Cinemasins angry birds movie (the first one)
6:08, Delia Bacon tried to dig up Shakespeare’s grave to prove he wasn’t actually dead.
Jer really deserved it this time
8:16 The point was Jeremy making a pop culture reference that isn't a sin of the movie. Apparently someone hasn't seen or heard of The Neverending Story.
That was a great book
@Luke Dougherty, great video
"Except Death is the physical embodiment of death itself and cant be defeated regardless"
You could probably at least "stalemate" him if you wish for immortality though.
True though it would undermine the theme of the movie
I know you won't do requests for a while now, but I just thought I would ask. Could you eventually do EWW CinemaSins for Night at the Museum 1 and 2, since I love the franchise?
11:04, I think Jeremy’s being deliberately inconsistent and impossible to please with this one
11:02 YOU SINNED THE MOVIE FOR HAVING A NUANCELESS VILLAIN LIKE 20 SECONDS AGO!!

You're also subbed to WickedBinge? Cool!
Well I was, but I’m not anymore.
Great as always

Just a question, didn’t mama bear die in the first Shrek movie. Or is there another set of the three Bears?
Hey, Luke, I was wondering if you could do Sausage Party next?
I have that one on my list, but it’s not going to be next, because I’ve already decided what my next three videos will be before I go back to doing videos that I want to do.
@LukeDougherty1003 Fair enough, man. But when you do get around to making it, let me know. I can bet it'll be epic and hilarious
Try Sinning Hellboy (2019)

9:07 It was not clear that you were pointing out the years the movies came out
The reason for sin 127 was that Jeremy got the year those Pinocchio movies came out wrong. It was 2022, not 2023.
3:10, you know he sinned that for the pun right?
But he made the pun, not the movie.
@@LukeDougherty1003 True
Vid doesn't play just buffers.
Weird, because it’s playing for me
Not me. I've tried several times and it just buffers endlessly.
The video does play for me, so maybe there might be something wrong with your device and/or Wi-Fi.
I finally got it to play thankfully.
I don't know what was wrong but every other video I tried played but this one.
Wicked Binge vid?

Yeah, I mean animated movies.
@@LukeDougherty1003 That makes sense, thanks. (By the way, I love your videos).
