    Just a couple hours away from Cairo (or 4 hours by public transit), Tunis Village in the Fayoum Oasis area offers a beautiful respite from the chaos of Egypt's largest city. You can come to Tunis for amazing ceramics, pottery lessons, cooking classes, horseback riding, boutique hotels, and a great home base to venture out to the desert from for a day (or multiple days) of riding in 4x4s seeing all of the sites of the Oasis.

    Thanks for the video. We feel very fortunate to have visited the Fayoum oasis and the Tunis village during our trip to Egypt last Christmas. Egypt is one of a kind. It’s beautiful, amazing and so diverse . and the people of Egypt are wonderful.

      How's the weather In December in Egypt ??

    • @sonaliroy6151
      @sonaliroy6151 Месяц назад

      @@jjj4899 overall it’s mild. Daytime can be quite warm and nighttime cold. Also it depends which part of Egypt you want to visit. For example Cairo during the night was pretty cold but during the day hot. The water of the Red Sea near Hurghada felt so cold even during the afternoon. You definitely need to carry both warm and light clothes depending on the time of the day.

      @@jjj4899ok. I just checked my photos and noticed that we had put on some light jackets in Alexandria on 24th Dec’22 during the day time. Fayuom and Cairo/ Giza would be warm during the day, but not too warm. It’s nice and mild. Same was in Aswan and other places. However, because every body type is different, so people can feel differently. This was my experience which I shared. Hope you have a great time in Egypt

    Tunis is the capital of my homeland, Tunisia. and you pronounce it the good way (thank you for this). Each time you say it, I feel strange :) Better keep with "Tunis Village" and not only "Tunis" ;)

    So nice to see other towns to visit. There are other things to do in Egypt besides the pyramids and Temples im sure. Unfortunately we don't see them. GREAT JOB.

      I totally agree! Unfortunately most tourists are in Egypt such a short while that they do not have time to do other things than the "must-sees", but yes--so much else to do besides tombs and temples!

    Thanks for this Video, i never did Fayoum but i am interested in the area. I tried ask a guide but they try to stick with Giza etc. Can you visit the nearby pyramids of Sesostris II and Hawara ?

      I am not sure if those pyramids are currently open, but even if they are not, there are enough ancient sites in the area to keep you busy!
