I think I read somewhere, and someone can correct me if I’m wrong but the reason Mike was so angry with operation inside out was because he couldn’t find his pain pills he was so badly addicted to after they had moved his stuff. He wasn’t sure if Pauly or Vinny had thrown them out or if production had taken them. Looking back on the scene it makes sense as to why he seemed so unreasonably angry. He was an addict coming down from a high and couldn’t find his fix. I’m happy with the new Mike though. ☺️

The Reddit thread was confirmed to be true when he told everyone that Vinny kept turning to production and telling them to stop Ron and Sam from fighting during the big blowout in Seaside and quoting Vinny as saying “are you really just gonna stand there and let this happen right now” and then someone found the deleted footage and posted it somewhere.
Here's one of the producer's comments: "We had a hunch but never any solid proof. Nobody turned a blind eye to that because it's such a huge liability. Sadly, business trumps morality. Nobody probably cared they were doing drugs because of it being such a toxic habit. We cared because it could potentially threaten the cash cow." If they'd found Mike's stash, it would've certainly been "solid proof."

They really are in a way. For how dumb they can be sometimes they’re also oddly mature with each others problems and are pretty loyal when someone’s down. Was my favorite part of the show how they would stick up for each other and the wholesome “family” moments.

As someone who's recently been diagnosed with General Anxiety Disorder, seeing Vinny go through his depression and missing his family/leaving the shore house really hits different now. Its so hard to convey the war going on in your head to other people. Anxiety and depression are real issues that can only be dealt with from within, and the best thing we can do for our loved ones going through it is to be support them as best as we can ❤️
