A cruise ship tour of Carnival Cruise Line’s newest mega-ship Carnival Celebration. This is the second vessel in the Excel class following Mardi Gras, which was launched in July 2021.
We do a deck-by-deck tour that starts on the first passenger deck and goes to the very top of the ship where BOLT: The Ultimate Sea Coaster is found (the second rollercoaster at sea).

We sailed on the Mardi Gras in Sept. 2021 and loved it! We loved the Cucina and Chibang and my husband loved Shaqs. Serenity was amazing. We rode Bolt and it was so fun. I enjoyed this video to see what the Celebration looks like.
Thanks for sharing. Basically a carbon copy with different designs and more seating in a lot of the spaces and moved the bar on deck 6.

Technically the elevator for spa cabins goes from Deck 17 to deck 5 and let’s you out right by the thermal suites

Very nice and entertaining
Don't let the "closing the hatch on the cove balcony" thing scare you off. It's really, REALLY rare that happens on a Vista class ship, and those coves are on deck 2. Excel class coves are on deck 5. Things are getting pretty crazy if they're closing that off. Those are fantastic cabins and especially on this class, probably the most private balconies you can book.

I think it will take the full 2 weeks just to find everything, and I am sure we will still miss something. This is our first mega ship. I really thought I was not gonna go on an XL class ship because of just the size but I did not realize that all that there is that extra pool and that Cucina is now included I will definitely look into going on The celebration thanks Doug

Great job with this tour...we just got off this ship a few days ago and it is a very beautiful vessel! Challenges that I experienced was slow Dining Room service, most notably in Cucina del Capitano. We did "Anytime Dining" which came back to bite us on Lobster Night when the wait time was 90 minutes! Did not know about the option to eat lobster elsewhere. Another observation is that all of the steps on the outdoor decks (16-18) are falling apart! The surfaces were separating and the crew was doing makeshift repairs throughout the voyage. I suspect Carnival is suing the contractor for that shoddy work on a ship less than a year old.
Here is a tip...on a ship with over 6,000 passengers, you can imagine disembarkation is a nightmare. We carried our luggage from our Staterooms on Deck 9 to Deck 7 (every lift was packed) to discover the Forward stairwell backed up from Deck 6 to 7. We took a shortcut with the luggage through the Spectrum Theater down to Deck 6. Otherwise, both Embarkation and Debarkation was great in Carnival's fully-renovated Miami terminal!
That was a good tour and I think the Carnival Celebration is awesome 👍👍. I love the Grand Spectrum show theater, bar, Carnival Kitchen, music clubs, and more activities. I love going on cruise shows.

We are taking our son on this ship for his graduation trip next june, he requested to have a family cruise before he heads off to college. I'm going on Mardi grais this may, and going on jubilee next August, so excited. Can't wait.

Cruising 2025 I'm definitely overwhelmed by the deck plans because I'm always confused about aft, mid & forward even on smaller ships. Thanks for this review, though, very thorough and going to share with my husband and son. At least if they could figure it out, I won't be lost😂😂
