Hi Yvonne. I am a huge fan of your work. Just found you recently and realized you are in my area. So today I went to your booth. I purchased the piece with chicken wire and 2 drawers as well as several small things. Thanks for all your hard work. Your booths were beautiful
With your background wall is the same as your pallet wood, it looks like the flag is just floating without any strings. I love it. Love all of the projects.
I really loved the angel wings! I lost one of my daughters last year and the wings reminded me of her. I wish I could find something like that here close to me. Thank you for showing this to me. 🦋🦋
I thought I did not like the angel wings. But the end result is beautiful. It looks like they are back-lit and all the highlights on them are so pretty. But the flag on pallet wood is my favorite.
You know what amazes me? At how you do so well at spraying on the paint from the can. From the video you look closer to the item then 12 inches n it goes on so beautifully. Not even a run. ( it always happens to me) Doesn’t your finger get tired holding down the nozzle?LOL. As far as I’m concerned your a real pro. All your make overs turned out so nice, especially that candle aubra. It was ugly but it sure looked pretty when you finished it. Hope I didn’t hurt your feelings calling it ugly. The flag idea I just love. I’m still hunting for that perfect frame to make one. ♥️♥️♥️🥰👍👍👍👍
I use any acrylic paint for the base then add the white glue. Chalk paint works great for crackle. Then I poly it to seal it. I like to use different base coats for smaller frames then put the white over it. By the way your frames are great always.
I have carved Italian antique furniture and the way I clean it is by using a new clean shoe soft brush and all the dust cleans up without harming the wood.
Oh.. Chris works at a pallet company. They have a machine that disassembles the pallets. One of the reasons he doesn’t get the wood free. But it’s worth it. 🤗
This is the first time you have appeared in my suggestions to watch for a long time and I am very happy to see you again so now I'm going to binge on all the ones I've missed since early on in the year .
I have an idea for you! I’ve always wanted to put a flag on corrugated steel, to make it look like the flag was waving. I’ll let you figure it out, then I’ll try it… LOL I love everything you do. Our styles are so similar that if we lived closer we’d be great friends!
Never a disappointment. The angel wings are so beautiful. One of the reasons I admire you is that you always finish your projects beautifully. I would have stopped at just hanging the wings on the wood. You made the project more amazing by finishing that piece of wood by adding the paint to blend the wings into the background. You are definitely talented in many areas. I learn so much by watching you. Thank you for sharing!!
I just love second chance unwanted items. Remaking anything saved our earth and makes whoever buy the item very happy. It's a win win for all. Thank you for a great channel.
Chalk paint does work! I’m pretty sure if you found a spray paint that doesn’t dry too quickly even that would work. It’s all about getting the paint on before the glue dries then forcing the glue to dry to cause crackle!
All of them:) But at the end was the flag. Beautiful! The wings turned out so,so nice. My grand daughter would love that, me too:) I love watching you . Easy peasy and It looks like a thousand bucks. Perfect. God Bless, Rebekah.
Yvonne, I love your frames and the cross with the glue aging crackling technic 👏👏👏👍👌 I'm not so fan of the vaseline ones. To my personal taste, I found the vaseline dabs/touches too big, where your paintbrush lightly touch the surface, for me it was top, very nice and more authentic. But its just my personal liking 😉😉 Keep transforming, giving a new life to old "trash" 😃😃 and sharing it with us 👍👌 Merci from France
You are just stunningly beautiful. I love your hair. I also have curly hair but mine doesn't have any volume to it. Anyway, just had to say that. Now imma go watch your DIYs. God bless.
Chalk paint work very well I have used it successfully. I'm a refinished my self I tried it on a sample border and sold it at a garage sale just my leftover stuff. Try it!
Absolutely fabulous makeovers! Always enjoy watching you transform your treasures, loved everything but the angel wings frame was beautiful and my fave! Thank you x
Love Love Love those frames when you use pallet wood !!! I also love your technique for the crackle look. Never gets old ! Beautiful work on the Angel Wing piece….wish I had “an ounce” of your bravery to try things. 🍁🍁🧡🍁🍁
Ok Yvonne, 8 minutes in and you are redoing three items that are sitting in my house right now. Cant wait to see what you do with the 5 hand cabrelabra😂
I love what you do! I loved every project, but I really am interested in enamelware and I was happy when I was able to take a thrift store candlestick and a metal pie pan and turn it into an enamelware look. Regarding the crackling, I follow an upcycler who uses chalk paint over glue and gets the crackle effect. I have done the same, but it's possible that the Zinz primer and paying would accentuate the effect.

♥️♥️♥️🥰👍👍👍👍
Nope.. no feeling hurt at all.
I’ve already had carpal tunnel surgery so maybe that why it doesn’t bother me much. Thank you for your compliments🥰
Awesome as always

I love the angel wing frame💛
The angel wing picture turned out beautiful and I love the flag idea 💡 😍
Love the whole show. Love the frames. Have a weakness for frames.
I have carved Italian antique furniture and the way I clean it is by using a new clean shoe soft brush and all the dust cleans up without harming the wood.
Enamelware pitcher -- "pitcher perfect"! I've come to the point where I watch other flippers and think "this is good, but Yvonne would have..."
Aww🥰
Your crackle is the best!!!!! Does Chris have a tip for taking pallets apart???? Those nails are tougher than a house being built LOL
Oh.. Chris works at a pallet company. They have a machine that disassembles the pallets. One of the reasons he doesn’t get the wood free. But it’s worth it. 🤗
Loved them all. You are talented!!
Yes you are always inspiring…thank you…loved the flag art piece.

Love it 😀
I love the flag 😊
Hi Yvonne,I see you don't use a blow dryer or heat on the crackle, what is your take on that effect. 😉 thank you for sharing.
I just let it dry and it does it’s thing. Beautifully I may add🤍
Yvonne, I wonder if you have ever used spray adhesive for a crackle paint, instead of glue?
