Yes, I am not a coach but on my side I will try yo adapt the style to modern football where speed to cover is a MUST, if not I feel he will be faced to the same balance issue as usual. To achieve this and I know some will shout because I kick off the untouchables Pique, Busquets, Garcia..: Ter Dest Araujo (bring speed and stength) Kounde (the fast playmaking centre-back) Alba DeJong (deep-lying playmaker his best position, with a high ability to cover and track back) Pedri Puig (pedri as playmaking box to box and Puig in iniesta's role) Sterling Depay Fati (classical 3 at the attack) Gavi and Nico would also get their chance in the midfield... Without Kounde we can keep Garcia Without Sterling we have dembele but always injured :(
I think I'd argue that the most important thing about Xavi being appointed isn't actually how good he is, it's how much time the Barca fans will give him compared to any other manager who is currently available. Barca's academy grads need time to reach the levels necessary to do what fans expect their team to do and they need to have positivity from the crowd to do that. Xavi could be anything down to mediocre and still be backed for a good period of time due to his status as a legend there. It's the same with Ole at Utd, where they had this promising crop of players and what the club really needed was the fans not to turn whilst they grew into a team. Ole isn't a top manager, but the fans have stayed relatively calm through the process of building a squad that could challenge under a better manager. Xavi may turn out to be a world class coach, but he doesn't need to be one to give Barca the time they need to transition out of the Messi era.
Xavi has a lot of stock with his people and he commanded the team when he played there. If we give any weight to Julian Nagelsmann's comment about what makes a great coach, “Thirty percent of coaching is tactics, 70 percent social competence,” Xavi has great tactical ideas that are Cruyfian in nature, but more than anything else, Xavi oozes social competence, just like Zidane does. We see this with Pep, Klopp, and Tuchel. Pochettino is struggling with social competence at PSG. He figured it out with a bunch of mostly young guys at Tottenham but hasn't figured it out amongst a group of super-charged egos and veterans, it just makes sense. We couldn't expect social competence from Ronald Koeman and he proved us right on day one. We didn't have any confidence in Koeman's social skills, and half of the fan base didn't want him because of it. They probably didn't know how to put their finger on it, at the time, but they knew he wasn't interested in earning and keeping the respect of the players and the fans, he was here on his own accrued merit and fame alone, and that's just not enough. As a result, Koeman's man-management was atrocious. Xavi commands respect and knows how to dish it out. He gives us confidence that man-management is a priority in his coaching and his words, so far, demonstrate that to us. Fresh starts, new outlooks, required changes, even second chances are all trigger words that make us believe that he might have the right outlook for man-management and player development. I think this is what makes his prospect more exciting than Koeman ever did. At least, I am excited to see what Xavi can get out of the players and am ready for us to play beautiful football again.
I don’t think Xavi is gonna use Pique or Roberto. I also think Busquets time is gonna be limited. Not because Busquets is down in quality but because he is not gonna be able to keep up with the rhythm for to long.
He can but pep had a player called Lionel Messi. So Xavi can't do exactly like Pep. But Barca fans and football in general would like to see the attractive football again and Xavi can do that definitely.
koeman did something incredibly wrong, he thought that pep was giving chances to youngsters and gambling to see if they succeed, no, pep trained them for a very long time in the sub divisions of barça, and got to head coach position as they were promoted, he had way more time than ppl give him credit for, koeman thought, well i just gonna get these young talents here and try to play tiktaka like pep did, the barcelona way, ended up having a disconnected team that wasnt ready for the pressure or the tatics, and other things in between
Exactly. The state the club is in at the moment, I don't even want to think about possible line ups. The way things look right now , we won't be able to get many, if any, reinforcements so I really wonder why people are so happy with Xavi as the new 'salvador'.
Yea barca has enormous amounts of debt but a club of this size and history it's not on banks interests to not help barca because they're not gonna want to have fast money when they get that money ten times over in the future.Big banks think long game not fast money 💸💰
This will go the same way that Pirlo, Lampard and Solskjaer went. Attractive football at first, a lot of promise, but will ultimately fail as they lack the vital experience needed to manage a club the size of Barca.
Yeah, it could. It could also go the way of guardiola. The main problem right now is that barca dont have the money to make signings that xavi might want.

To achieve this and I know some will shout because I kick off the untouchables Pique, Busquets, Garcia..:
Ter
Dest Araujo (bring speed and stength) Kounde (the fast playmaking centre-back) Alba
DeJong (deep-lying playmaker his best position, with a high ability to cover and track back)
Pedri Puig (pedri as playmaking box to box and Puig in iniesta's role)
Sterling Depay Fati (classical 3 at the attack)
Gavi and Nico would also get their chance in the midfield...
Without Kounde we can keep Garcia
Without Sterling we have dembele but always injured :(
I think I'd argue that the most important thing about Xavi being appointed isn't actually how good he is, it's how much time the Barca fans will give him compared to any other manager who is currently available.
True......but just saying ole is nothing compared to Xavi, at Barcelona he is like pep and Johan a chosen one.
@@lamelrose7699 He's also a more modern, tactically aware manager.
what a song. joe is a treasure
wonderkid manger will be pressured being call the next pep
What's up with the frame rate in your videos? Feels choppy...
The only way I can stop singing the merchandise song is to switch to Tom Worville Is Stuck in a Scattergram, in JJ's voice...
What about dembele from the right hand side.
Pep is not dead💀 why have you made him an angel in the thumbnail
I'll buy the album
I love jj bull 😅
Why not Yusuf instead of Dest? He's simply not a RW
I now only watch these for the Tifo merchandise song.
I don’t think Xavi is gonna use Pique or Roberto. I also think Busquets time is gonna be limited. Not because Busquets is down in quality but because he is not gonna be able to keep up with the rhythm for to long.
xavi himself said in his coaches' voice video that a 4-3-3 wont always work and we need to adapt to modern football to under a 4-2--3-1 or 3-4-3
You’re making it seem like 4231 is the only option. Smh
The framerate on these videos continues to be noticeably low. Can we at least get an explanation as to why?
He can but pep had a player called Lionel Messi. So Xavi can't do exactly like Pep. But Barca fans and football in general would like to see the attractive football again and Xavi can do that definitely.
the thumbnail.....pep guardiola 1971-2021
If I was a a manager and had my tactics just exposed openly for everyone to see for free on RUclips, I'd probably be a bit annoyed 😂
I mean Xavi did exactly that like a week ago.
Came for the tactics, stayed for the Merchandise Song
Beautiful explanation… If the rival does not play and has no technical capability whatsoever
Very quick
Every Tifo's video about FC Barcelona is an involuntary comedy.
Xavi to barca has been the coolest thing so far this year
It's easier said than done. I i don't think this Barca has the quality or squad depth. But then again could be because of Koeman.
We shall see
Just bring us some al sadd players like the striker will be nice
You were not wrong 😅 Barcelona is actually playing well now
y'all should check out his masterclass video it gives broader perspective of his phylosophy
Could you link pls?
Wait why is pep in heaven😭😭
koeman did something incredibly wrong, he thought that pep was giving chances to youngsters and gambling to see if they succeed, no, pep trained them for a very long time in the sub divisions of barça, and got to head coach position as they were promoted, he had way more time than ppl give him credit for, koeman thought, well i just gonna get these young talents here and try to play tiktaka like pep did, the barcelona way, ended up having a disconnected team that wasnt ready for the pressure or the tatics, and other things in between
Pep was one year with the seccond team and promoted one player in busquets and later in Pedro. Pep didn't get many new players in the team
@@zirbto5749 Thiago too
GOOD GOOD NICE
Good timing!!
Meanwhile they're literally facing bankruptcy, haven't paid Koeman and not a single video has been made about their current state of shambles.
Exactly. The state the club is in at the moment, I don't even want to think about possible line ups. The way things look right now , we won't be able to get many, if any, reinforcements so I really wonder why people are so happy with Xavi as the new 'salvador'.
is that Rick Astley.........?
Yea barca has enormous amounts of debt but a club of this size and history it's not on banks interests to not help barca because they're not gonna want to have fast money when they get that money ten times over in the future.Big banks think long game not fast money 💸💰
They've made it in the other channel
I'll be back here after 6 months
Why on earth would he play Sergino dest as a forward and Sergi Roberto RB? I think je will use more Araujo and Oscar, also not so much Busquets maybe
ironically, xavi first joined the team as a youngster when barcelona were on the verge of bankruptcy. Interesting how circular this whole thing feels
I would be very surprised if Xavi doesn't use Dest as Guardiola used Dani Alves.
Hilarious thumbnail
Man I really really hope you're not wrong
one of the only men who can rescue Barcelona's DNA.
This will go the same way that Pirlo, Lampard and Solskjaer went. Attractive football at first, a lot of promise, but will ultimately fail as they lack the vital experience needed to manage a club the size of Barca.
Do you remember Pep...
Yeah, it could. It could also go the way of guardiola. The main problem right now is that barca dont have the money to make signings that xavi might want.
How does he lack experience? He has been coaching for 2.5 years. And he is coming to a club which he spent the majority of his life.
@@TheAntagonistx The league in Qatar is at a totally different level than European leagues.
Pirlo, Lampard, Ole attractive football? 😂.
I thought it was seb in the thumbnail until I read the title
If i had money i would definitely buy that merchandise 😂
If players don't trust the process then how much ever you coach it's going to fail. His tactics looks like unai emery
Hey fam, I'm here for the football but.....anyone know the name of the song?
Noone knows if he will be a new Guardiola. No he wont he will be his own man.
If anyone has watched mark goldbridge playing fifa, you know that Burnley play like prime barca
