The CX 5 is still my favorite. I sure hope they just update it and keep it in the lineup.

I bought my Machine Gray 2024 CX-5 back on Dec 9th, 2023. I have the basic model, and I couldn't be happier.

Thats the color I have! Looks very classy and neutral! 24 thousand trouble free miles! I love it! I had a 2007 rav4 limited for 15 years, I enjoy driving this so much more! Looks much better too.

That's the color I just bought last week, really nice in the sunshine. Premium model which has the better looking 19" wheels and a few other options added.

CX5 is such a quality vehicle. I have 22 Carbon/Red, and really have no complaints after living with it for 2 years. Probably my biggest frustration is that you can't fold the rear seats down without removing the headrests. I go back and forth between seats down and seats up and it's a real pain to by taking both headrests on and off every time. Other than that, really don't have any issues, and really enjoy the car.

If there are no people in the rear seats, you don’t have to put the headrests in. They also reduce visibility. The best rear seats have headrests that fold down.

@@michaels3003 That would be an awesome addition for Mazda to make in the CX-5. Great idea. Can't be that expensive.

Hi Jonathan, I hope this message finds you well. I have followed you for a long time, and I know you are one of the best Mazda experts on RUclips. I hope you could help me.
I bought a 2024 CX-5 Preferred and got a navigation SD card from Amazon. Both the car and the Mazda navigation work well. Some people online shared that the speed limit and stop sign information can be displayed on the dashboard after the navigation SD card is installed, but I cannot see this information on my dashboard. The speed limit info can be displayed on the 10.25-inch screen when I use the Mazda navigation, but it is not shown on the dashboard.
I don't know whether the 2024 Mazda CX-5 Preferred does not support this feature or if I need to change some settings. Thank you so much!

I just test drove this and the Carbon Edition with 19" wheels. The Carbon's steering felt heavier than this one. Is it my imagination or does bigger wheel weigh down the steering?

I was going to get this colour but decided on the silver instead. I think my silver top spec G35 looks beautiful and love driving it. Now they no longer have silver I think my next one would be Eternal Blue.

While I love the parchment seats, I would like to see less severe contrast with the other panels.....that are black. We want to move from our great 17-19-year old Toyota (3), but can't find tasteful earth-tone interiors today.

My son leased a Volvo cx90. It has been so much trouble, that they need to borrow my cx5 while they try to straighten out the electronics in the Volvo.

So great there’s no I stop or cylinder deactivation. Who cares for a couple MPGs less. This car will last forever if u just do oil changes. A guy has a 2016 six with 350k miles. No turbo, no stop/start & no cylinder deactivation is why.

I've had a Mazda (CX-50) for a few months now, my first Mazda. Sadly, I am regretting the purchase. Mazdas look sharp, exterior and interior. But, their on-board systems suck. Driver assist radar, lift gate controls and auto wiper are my main gripes. Driving down the road the driver assist radar occasionally stops working for no apparent reason, flashes an message on the dash that it is temporarily stopped. The auto wipers work.....sometimes. And the lift gate just plane sucks. It is constantly not opening, just beeping when you try to open it from the back or from the key fob. I have to start the car to reset it. I had a Hyundai Tucson before this and all the systems worked flawlessly. I would pass on the Mazdas and look elsewhere.

Nothing new to see here. Mazda is really slacking. The 70 is just a 90 so How long until a refresh for the 5? It’s growing old & under tech. My love for Mazda is fading.
