I'm studying an ancient language for reading Buddhist canon which its native speakers no longer exist nowadays. Because I've been affected by the old way of learning languages in school that doesnt work well so it's more difficult for me to learn it, but when my teacher kind of says "we rather care more what native speakers wanna say (because that's what's had first, it's a root) than what grammar point the language is showing (they had later, one of the tools to express what we want to say)". And you also mentioned almost the same thing somewhere in the videos. I'm trying to change my mindset and try to apply this method while learning and wow it really worked :)). At least I feel less bored and less scared when leaning it, both English and that ancient language :)). I realized that we only feel it completely when we really do it by ourselves. Come back to the proverb you said in the beginning of the video "you can lead the horse to water but you can't make him drink". Many thanks, Drew🙏

びっくりですよ。I'm impressed by all work ( this experiment with the cup) you are doing to explain really not important things with water in the nose. I think most people in this situation just stayed 「ok , do as you wish 」

Hi Drew! I love tiramisu too. But it's hard to find a good one in Brazil. Thanks for this lesson.

And about tiramisu. That's not some difficult dessert. That's Italian cookies on the bottom...sawoyardi,put the coffee to them, not to much, they just must absorb coffee flavour. After that get the mascarpone cheese ( it's a soft ,fat cheese) ,cocoa powder on the top and put all that on the cold for couple hours. いただきます
