Started playing piano in late September this year. I'm a total beginner and I wanted to learn this piece first but I'm lazy to learn music sheet and here I am now learned 4 songs without music sheet just from all of your tutorials and trying again to learn this. You really have the most simplest tutorial and I love it so much.
There are a ton of apps to learn music theory as well as the musical notes. It's fun and educational! It will makes learning so much easier in the long run.
Finally got through the 1st bit with the sheet music. I have found it the only way to work out which note goes with which hand ✋ at any given time. Can do both hands separately easily but still working on hands combined. Thanks for doing this lesson. ❤

For everyone who's trying to learn both hands together, count the rhythm( you'll probably find some vids on how to do that ). It'll help a lot if you can count the rhythm and it helps to synchronise the hands.

Just an opinion. I think if you teach each section and then you play it in the way it is supposed to sound it’s better to memorize and the melody gets straight to you head. Rather than the whole piece in a slow motion ‘cause at the end we don’t really know how it sounds and I know we can always go and listen to the original song but if the tutorial already shows you that, the song gets stuck in your head a little more. It’d also be beneficial if at the end of the video you would play all together in the normal speed. You do amazing by dividing sections but it would be good to do the slow version and then at normal speed.
Hii, I don't understand something, in minute 5:28 where the trill is, in the sheet music it says E+B then C and B again. But when I watch u play it, you only play fast B and C sharp, is there a reason for that? I searched up this tutorial for that trill but now I'm more confused 🥺
Yes I miss out the E with the B, I think I was using a slightly different copy of the physical sheet music in front of me when filming this and had not realised minor differences

Forgive me. Just a little suggestion. Before starting a new line, maybe play the line in a way how it is supposed to sound normally. You start a new line so slow, I need to learn the piece first just to figure out later "oh this is that part". Sorry, it's from a beginner's perspective

If the audience could listen to the line at normal speed even before they started learning it, then maybe it would be better to grasp. Just a thought. I'm sorry it's just what I felt while learning. The original piece is in F# minor key..
It's definitely A major (F# minor is the relative minor which has the same key signature).

@@samkzz9148 if it's the same notes then it's definitely in A major. A is the 'home' note throughout, not F#! (The piece ends on an A!)
