In the drama itself with costume & makeup on, the 12-year age gap is not really obvious. In fact, their chemistry on-screen makes the drama dope. Though Wang Xing Yue is only in his early 20's, he exudes a mature type of sexiness which covers up his extreme youthfulness😍He has that type of "rascal" seductiveness that many actors of his age group don't possess.☺️ There have been quite a number of traffic actors acting with older actresses as their romantic partners. Unlike most of them, WXY managed to throw off that inevitable, romancing an "older sister" or "younger aunt" vibe and is most credible as a highly desirable partner of equal footing.
True his acting skill are amazing, he got into character in and out. The fact I am surprise he is just 22 y.o and he with the female actress really built the chemistry very well they don’t seem have the age gap. The pattern are clear without pull and push. This is the drama of 2024 for me so far, I love Wu Jinyan in period drama's. She has an almost ethereal persona which works so well in period drama's. I loved her in Yanxi Palace and lost count how many times I've watched it.
Right!!! They should give her more costume or period dramas! After Story of Yanxi Palace she had more modern drama and it didn't do well like her period dramas. She has a very classy beauty and her vibes is more suitable to ancient settings.

One of the best C drama in 2024, the ML (Wang Xingyue) and FL ( Wu Jinyan) were marvellous. They perform excellently together, giving a great interpretation of the parts they are playing. A brilliant story line /plot every series full of excitement. Whole casts were superb. really top-notch.

I just finished the drama. To start with, I didn’t expect much as I don’t really know about both the actor and actress. This was my first drama of both of them. But dang the drama got me hooked. The actor is handsome but it was the actress and her story that got me hooked.

This subconsciously makes the viewer perceive her as a young woman, but not an innocent girl. For this reason, she perfectly fits the age of the actress! And even if the mail main character is younger, this difference is perceived as normal because of the already clarified scenario! Dramas in which the actress is 30 and plays a 16-year-old in the script always reinforce the feeling that the main character is actually an adult. This is why the script is extremely important!

I was amazed to find he is only 22 as he portrays a much older character in The Double but next to Wu he has resorted back into an adorable 22 year old wanting to be be acknowledged by his noona!

That implies that the main character is a woman. Often that term is used in instances where we'd expect a man to play the role or where the story is not a romance. A show that is full of twists and turns with a complicated story line tends to be described by its plot: "Oh, the plotting is well done, is complex, is intricate. A TV show is "addictive, full of cliff-hangers." The phrase "cliff-hanger is a great colloquial American phrase that comes from the days of silent films. Addictive is the main word people will use to praise a TV show that they can't stop watching. As for a satisfying ending, that's perfect. When I heard "Cool Drama," I thought it meant that teenagers liked it. :) I guess Silence of the Lambs is a Cool Drama, the first Alien movie with Sigourney Weaver.

I'm also INFP, so we are introverted but we get to be talkative to those person we are comfortable to be with and it's like just being us and being who we are were negativity doesn't exist

Wu Jinyan is easy to work with, Wang Xingyue looks very comfortable with her since she has this calming vibes on her, she's also witty and communicates really well.
