these are available thru Fitel splicer dealerships around the world, they are an abrasive disc that will take the oxides off the tips and to remove tarnish, the energy travel in the skin of the electrodes. we are in Sydney Australia

How many splices can you complete before you clean the electrodes, an how many splices before you change the electrodes

yes cleans off the silica oxides from the fiber, can also remove oxides from the electrodes along the shaft if they have oxidized. : )
After cleaning electrode efficiency? How many new arcs count?
to burn in the cleaned or new electrodes we do 10 arc's, it is then ready for an arc check
