- This is my review of Mike Schultz' Museum Quality, BRUCE NTT shark maquette. The video is a little longer than I expected, but I go over the base display, and show a lot of the shark, go over some details and compare it to some photos of the "real" Bruce. Credit for photos is from a great book for any JAWS fan, Memories from Martha's Vineyard, by Matt Taylor. Check out the Sharks for yourself at sharkcityozark.com/

Thanks for taking the time to review the NTT Bruce. Congrats, it is a stunning maquette. Perfect in every way.
A wonderfully detailed and extensive review. Terrific viewing, and a great look at the maquette for potential buyers. Thank you! :)
That is Bruce 100%. Beautiful
"Doesn't seem to be livin', until he bites ya"
Great detailed review. Much better then mine. It is really a fantastic piece of art. Got to meet the artist Mike Schultz at Jawsfest and had a great time talking to him and hanging out. Also got to buy the Brucette from him while I was there. First person to own it and I got it at Jawsfest from the artist himself. Pretty cool! Mike is really a great guy. The Original Bruce NTT is the prize of my collection!
I love Bruce!! He's become as legend now as Rick, Roy and Robert.
JAWS is quite possibly my favorite movie of all time. It is great to see a fellow fan do justice to the product AS WELL as the movie.Once I have the cash and the moxy to contact Mike and family there is no doubt I will buy their new model. Fantastic review man, so detailed. Also, I ended up buying JAWS: Memories of Martha's Vineyard because you mentioned it and it is a fantastic book. Great job!
Hey Michael. Thanks! Jaws IS my most favorite movie of all time. And I thought I knew everything about Jaws, until I myself bought JAWS: Memories of Martha's Vineyard. I loved the size of the book, and it was full of great shots and info that I never knew. As you could tell, I really, really love this Jaws shark by Mike Schultz.
Jerry Scullion hahaha oh yeah I can tell and I don't blame you for loving that shark, it is beautiful, I just wish I could afford one lol.
I missed the party on the Bruce NTT, however I just ordered The Ultimate Bruce. Can't wait.
Jaws is my all time favorite movie, it is actually the first movie i ever saw, i am also a shark fanatic, "devouring''if you pardon the pun, anything and everything to do with sharks. I love ''Bruce'' but i sometimes wish that they could have been able to create the (palatadaquadrate protusion),when the jaw unlocks and moves forward, but i guess it wouldn,t be ''Bruce without the trade mark jowls. Great maquette any way. Have you seen the one with the full underneath gantry and barrels attached u can see it briefly on the doco ''The Shark Is Still Working'' it is magnificent.
I didn't even know that these existed. I have a Bruce head made by Paul McPhee.
And I thought I was a Jaw's freak/geek
Correction: They DID use a real shark in several of the underwater sequences... Just saying!
Certainly they did, with Ron & Valerie Taylors underwater "cage" footage. Did you ever see the "raw" footage of that sequence? It's pretty cool, the shark gets stuck in the cage ropes as it sinks to the ocean floor. Thanks!
Wow ! Thats awsome
Hi Excellent masterpiece. I'm also getting one myself. Just curious is this the Tow-Sled Bruce Shark? Or the Platfrom Bruce Shark? Thanks again my friend. And congratulations on this fantastic piece.
Hey Scott - this was the original Platform Shark, it's NOT the tow-sled shark. That's got more of a closed mouth I think.
@@JerryScullion hi, sorry for my late response. Thanks again for your help for the information about the model. I can't wait to get mine. The place that mask these masterpieces are Excellent to work. All the best my friend.
@@scottsylvester7705 Yes, these definitely are pretty cool, and very, very accurate - They make a few sizes these days, this one was back when they first started, and they have less expensive ones, too- but I also think they have an even bigger one at 53" long! This one is "only" 36" inches!! :)
I want that where can i buy it?
Yo Jerry thanks for the review I am a huge fan of the films. My personal favorite is the first and 3rd one. I know a lot of people hated it for numerous reasons. The only problem I had was the acting and visual effects. Anyways, thanks for doing this review. I am saving up for a smaller version of the shark. It's super detailed. Anyways can you send me the link?
+Jacob Miller (Ralphmoulph) - Hey, Jacob - Thanks for the comment! And, here is the link - www.sharkcityozark.com/ - they make great stuff, and will work with you to pay it off too!
Oh God, I literally CRY myself to sleep because this costs so much!
Yes, this is a bit of $ but Mike usually can work with you to help you out if you really want one. It's really a great piece, and you won't regret it, if you get it. There are other options on Mike's site - sharkcityozark.com/
what is thee price of this maquette?
What's the shark made of? And will it be safe to put it in water?
Obscure Entertainment It's made of a sort of resin, not sure - but NO, it cannot go in water. You wouldn't want to, once you se/feel it. It's like a museum sculpture!
Jerry Scullion will the paint come off if it gets wet? I ask because I need a shark for a horror movie I'm making.
Obscure Entertainment I honestly don't know - but it "feels" like something I wouldn't get wet - but, it may not come off - but I really don't know.
Jerry Scullion I talked to Mike Schultz, and he says the paint would almost certainly melt away if you put it in water.
Judging from what I read they are made of some of the finest hardcore plastic material available.
去哪裡買
I am definately buying a shark from Shark City Ozark...
Finished another comment because it was too long. I have now visited this page dozens of times with the intent to see if I can encourage them to produce for me a plus 60 inch one. I have always wanted a large shark from the movie whose mouth can be opened and closed.
@@Yatukih_001 wouldn’t that mean they would have to get a new mold
bathtub ready
Okay it's the eye's that are exaggerated not the jowls. Much more protruding. And also Bruce should be Brucella as the sexual orientation on the models is of a female shark.
Hey Tyler - if you freeze at 2:39 you'll see Bruces boy parts
No you are right indeed. ;)
This is the one I have still in it's box. www.mwctoys.com/REVIEW_101901.htm
Tyler Vanner Yeah, I love the job McFarland did on the Orca, I think they fell short on the Shark. I'd love to get a new Shark in scale to that Orca!
Shark is a bit Meh. Mine is still in the box, I never opened it
big toy but not realistic
