I must have missed the part where you showed how to play the backing track. Are the chords in the intro the same chords for the backing track? If so. What is the strumming technique used for the backing track? I am familiar with the basic rumba but, am not sure on this song.

The song is based on four chords (B minor, G major, e minor, F# Major - of course with added notes and different extensions that give the characteristic sound of this song and of course when you play it with capo on the 2nd fret - it will be C#Minor, A major, F# minor, and G# Major). Hi! Thank you for your comment! The problem of holding the guitar is very complex and there is no 1 the only correct way. You have to experiment and find the comfortable position for you. It is up to your body, height of the chair, and so on and so on. I heard once a professor that said that classical guitar is such uncomfortable for the body. I still try to experiment and find my favorite position. In this video I use guitar support “Ergoplay Tappert” which is available in online shops worldwide. You can adjust then the hight of the guitar to your body. Maybe this will help ;). I hope that I could help with my answer. Greetings!

My Tutorial is based on the Pharaon from the "Alegria Album" by Gipsy Kings - you can listen to this version here: ruclips.net/video/z86G_mAewms/видео.html I studied it really carefully and all notes in my tutorial are exactly the same as in this original track, as far as the melody guitar by Tonino Baliardo is concerned. The only part that is missing is the part in the original track without solo melody, so the fragment 1:33 - 1:55. In this fragment there is no solo melody - Tonino plays comping (chords patterns with specific arpeggios) that are gently interacting with other aaccompanying guitars by Gipsy Kings members. I treat this fragment very freely and I just suggest and recommend everybody to have fun with the rhythm and play a little bit of compas on your own, if you know what I mean. That is why I didn't focus on explaining this fragment because I treat it as a short rhythmical, compas fragment that you can treat freely and experiment. I hope I could help with my answer! Hey :) How fast is enough for picado, alzapua, tremolo, flamenco arpeggio patterns and rasgueado for a flamenco style ----> 150 bpm 16th notes, 160, 170, 180? How fast can you play these techniques? :) I am trying to learn flamenco and I want to set long term goals from the start. :)
Hey! Thanks for your comment and question! To be honest to play picado 150bpm or 160bpm is really really fast! If you can manage to reach 150 bpm it will be really great and you will perform the majority of compositions with relax and ease. For arpeggio it will be less. What I recommend you is to be always relaxed and do not rush with the tempo. Generally tempo is a result of really slow practice. It will come with time. Good luck with your work!
@@ProFLAMENCO Thank you! Well I get stuck around certain speeds. For example classical tremolo 95-100bpm, or alternate picking 130 bpm. 150bpm 16th notes is the 'sound of the speed'. I practice slowly and then I get up to a speed, but then feel stuck if you know what I mean. I can play tremolo- I have the skill, or alternate picking, but I can't play it fast enough.

So you play 1. eight note with dot, and then sixteenth note and so on... 2. sixteenth note and eight note with dot and so on... 3. eight note with dot and then 2 Thirty-second note and so on... 4. 2 Thirty-second note and eight note with dot and so on... So the diagram and the notes are correct ;). Of course if you add capo on the 2nd fret the real sound is not e minor but f# minor but to make it easy we often write down notes as without Capo.
