It needs to be held by the neck since it's so fragile at that age. Just like a human baby, you need to support the neck when you hold them. Holding the baby tiger by its backside/tail would be wrong since the cub has no support for the neck and the blood could rush up to the brain causing it to feint or pass out from the rush. The young tiger is still getting to grips with being a mum, you aren't born a parent but you quickly learn.

This is so amazing! I love the way they're flailing about all over the place (although, thankfully not hurting themselves) and you can just hear mama tiger's exasperate sigh like oh gosh another one's running away!

With great sorrow I need to inform you all that one of the female cubs in this video died today on 16 jan 2022 at the ripe old age of 16 due to natural causes. Her name was Collarwali. In her lifetime she gave birth to 29 cubs out of which 25 reached maturity.
A funeral was arranged by the forest department to acknowledge the legend that she was and pay respects.
    #RIP__Collarwali. You'll be missed.

I want all of you to see how the mothers in the wild treat their children it's actually beautiful. Being human beings we don't have to do what they does but it's the love that they show their cubs it's the love and protection we show our love and protection in a different way but it's so beautiful the way that God put into all mothers the protection of their child

  • @TheSmily4ever
