I follow the younger generation development :( one of the senior? Men lost both his parents he is young 20 year old. Just all of it heart wrenching

@@asmith4328yes, that’s Maxim Naumov. He lost both of his parents (also his coaches), who are figure skating coaches and world champions in pairs

It is with great sadness that such a tragic accident cut short the future of these young talents who were thought to be the future of figure skating in the United States.
I would like to express my condolences to all those who lost their lives, and I hope that all those involved in figure skating will overcome this tragedy and do their best with a stronger desire for the sport in their hearts.

Generations of skating talent lost. and for the Skating Club of Boston, which lost half of the 1961 US team to Worlds, they lost 6 members in this latest crash. Prayers for all concerned.
