Great Video as always Dan. Nice Cutting of the Logs up. Same here, 1hour a Day since Tuesday. More today, then 2days off, due to A Tropical Storm coming in with alot of Rain. Hope to make it tomorrow Night for Friday Night Live. Nice out for now, Great Cutting and Splitting Weather. Stay Safe and Hydrated. Ron from the Woodyard in Duanesburg NY.
It looks like Bunyan can't possibly get here soon enough! You are going to need to stock up on chains again because there isn't much meat left on your saw chains!👍
Should give a 8 tooth sprocket a try. I run one on a original edition 372 with oversized piston, and 28" . One side affect is its easier to throw a loose chain.
@@Back40Firewood NO Grasshopper to many steps to splitter , even turning around once at splitter to much . log lift to slow for many lifts , time to redesign splitter .have bob call we fix you up , old grasshopper .
Looking good Dan I like that saw
She been warm out there this week
You got lots done in just under 9 minutes 😉
The 500i is a beast…it has its place in firewood production 👏🏻

Clean out the oil passage in the bar with a piece of wire.
Somebody has to do it! Not fun like splitting, at least for me.
Dat saw made to cut wood not mud
Is that a 24 inch bar ?
25"
@@Back40Firewood well I am old school 84 drivers same as what was 24 . I don’t even know why they started calling it 25 .
Two questions. Did I see some BW in the making? Did you miss the carport when you launched that piece toward the end of the video?
Bill
Yep there were a few chunks that definitely become BW pieces.
Why the ff? Would have been a good video.
