Yes, but that doesn't mean they can't get an update. Just look a Lily, GUMI, Gackpo, VY1, VY2, etc. Also if they re-recorded him he would probably be higher quality plus it would add the triphonics which would make him overall smoother and more realistic, they could also record him in two pitches (like VY2V3), one with Piko's "manly" voice and the other with his "feminine" voice so people don't have to pitch him down.
Umm, im starting thinking that UTAU is now on the level to enter into a battle between Vocaloid, this cover is more awesome than Gumi's :P just saying.
