Listening on a dark Monday morning, only three days of summer remaining, and I'm on the verge of 66 and tears...the music brought the August sunshine back to my heart...your music jazz sublime in my mood. Thank you Brian and your brilliant band.
Man, that drummer knows how to use brushes. That was beautiful
Jay is a monster drummer and so sensitive. I feel lucky every time we play together!
lovely❤ it felt like the days I'm full of joy and happiness for no reason and ask my self why and then the joy stops me from thinking to find the answer
Wow, that’s beautiful. Thank you.
This rules! Everybody should also listen to the original version of this song, in the musical The Light In The Piazza. That whole show's got some pretty nice music.
What a song, what a lovely sound! Thank you...
what a sound.
Such a nice song!
Isn’t it great?
@@BrianKrock yes of course👍
Loved this version since the livestream. Incredibly beautiful.
Thanks, Conor!
man!!! this is just brilliant!
This is so timely... This piece evokes the same feelings in me as Charles Lloyd's recent interpretation of "Monk's Mood."
Although words will fail where your music is triumphant, one word that aptly describes your work to me (in general) is Resilience. You manage to present an array of complex emotions, looking pain and suffering square in the eye, feeling those emotions viscerally (as in your writer's block piece), then letting them go gently (as in this interpretation). That's what your music means to me.
P.S. I'm happy to say that I'm now in a financial position where I can support you; expect another among your ranks at some point today :)
Thanks Noah, this comment is so kind. I really appreciate it!
comment for the algorithm. beautiful work from the musicians!
