They need a link to this RUclips video for the installers. They didn't know there was a button on the side of my remote. After watching this boom all 3 connectors working excellent. Thank you very much for this video.
We dont know everything but do know how to get the answers. Openers have changed recently so the most experienced installer has to embrace change and learn new stuff without acting like they already knew the answer to a new thing. I keep it real and act like a person not an extension if the matrix.
Question for you on this process: does the remote control learn from the receiver, or does the reciever learn from the remote control? I picked up a cheap Amazon replacement for my apartment garage door, but I share my stall with my neighbor, and I don't want to render her remote control inoperable. Thanks!
This would be helpful, except the bulb on my garage door opener stopped working a few years back. It would work sometimes, but not others. Then it stopped altogether. I have changed the bulb and it doesn’t matter. Light doesn’t work. I have a bright motion detecting light in the garage and the door works otherwise, so having the light not work on the opener hasn’t been a big deal. Except my car is in the shop for hail damage repair and I had to replace the battery in the remote. It’s not working, so I attempted to reprogram it…so far it hasn’t worked; but I’ve got no working light on the garage door opener. Bummer.
Each time I program a new remote the other ones don’t work including the keypad remote on the door. How can I program multiple remotes within 30 seconds?
I have this exact same garage door opener and one of the exact same remotes, with good batteries, and I STILL cannot get it to program. I have tried three different Liftmaster remotes in the last 24 hours, without success. I was able to program the Homelink remote built into one car to open one of the two doors of my garage using a Homelink to Liftmaster converter. But I cannot understand why I can’t program a Liftmaster remote to open a Liftmaster garage door opener. So frustrating!
They told me it cannot be programmed for gates that do not have a learn button. Very disappointing. Many gates just use simple DIP switch codes and it is suprising that this remote cannot handle learning that simple code. I was told I need to buy another remote for the gate...UGH!
Yak... yak... yak... apparently you cannot program using the wall mounted console. So everyone has to climb a 12 foot ladder, and take apart the unit to press the “yellow button.”
just hit the learn button and push the button on the remote, the light on the garage motor will blink.. that's all simple, now somebody tell liftmaster!!
Instructions on this video was 100% better than what came in the box! Thank you!!!

My new max remote has no programming button
mine does not, not, have that button in the back? what to do,
Can I use one remote for multiple homes?

Each time I program a new remote the other ones don’t work including the keypad remote on the door. How can I program multiple remotes within 30 seconds?
My remote works only if you are nearby the unit, dnt know if the remote is the culprit or the unit itself.
Perfect!! Thank you kindly. 😊
Perfect. Thank you kindly!
Come and fix mine please

NO mention for GATES

This is a joke. My exact remote he shows in video doesn’t have a button behind the metal clip
