FACTS this was not a good BAMA team fr relied on A LOT of young players but Milroe carried them ALL year even when they turned on them
I started the season wanting anyone to beat UGA and keep them from "3 peating". I'm so glad it didn't happen and Bama was the team to deny them!

The Big 10 is now the premier football conference. USC, UCLA, Washington, and Oregon join next year. The SEC had a decent run with Alabama and Georgia, but it's over now.

Procter and McLaughlin were liabilities at the beginning of the season and did play well for the most part, but they played poorly in the first half and the low snaps were costly. Either get these guys playing better or find new guys. Move both to the guard position coach. And use your TE as a blocker!
I thought the team played really well when Robbie Ouzts was in and Caleb Downs and Reichard had great games. This team gave us a hell of a year and surely a great job by Saban.
I love Bama and especially Bama football. BUT there are things, observations, that need to be said. First, who the heck coaches the offensive line? Our OL was a dumpster fire most of the game. Who coaches our receivers, and who chooses which receivers play? Need to move on from these folks. The defense, at times, especially in the second half, looked stout. But the DBs and especially the middle linebacker were like a deer in the headlights. If Michigan had had two footballs on the scoring pass to Corum, they could have scored two TDs because #5 was open right behind him. Can these guys be taught how to play zone without giving up the first down in the process? Every time we play zone the WRs for the opposing team don't need to find a "seam", heck, we give them an island as big as Australia to sit down on. I also believe JM needs to toughen up a bit. He hit the dirt on a third down play when he, apparently, could have gotten a first down if he was willing to take a blow. I love Bama football, and I love how much this team developed, but there is a heck of a lot left to get right. It seems that some of our biggest, strongest guys were talking murder ball all season only to have their "rear ends" handed to them in this game. How about less camera time and more attention to details. It isn't a good look for 320+lb linemen to be on their backs in their own back field. Finally, I almost forgot about our center. He was absolutely dreadful. There is no reason, unless we only have one center, that he was not benched. He has miscentered and even been called for more false starts than anyone ever. How is that even possible for a center to be called for a false start? I hope all the players and coaches have a happy new year and a fulfilled life from this point on. The need for improvement is massive. Oh, how I hate losing to the Big 10! And to Harbaugh, the grand Poobah of egotism especially.

Well, great season overall. And it's a 12 team playoff next year. At least we know as long as Coach Saban is there, and it's a 12 team playoff, we will ALWAYS be competing in it.
Truthfully this was probably his best coaching job.

Alabama coaches and fans keep saying about this year's team isn't really up to the par from previous Alabama teams. However, compare to current Michigan's roster, Alabama has 10+ more 5-stars and 20+ more 4-stars player. Now we are talking about disparity in the baseline measurement.

Does Nick think Michigan played well? Nick doesn't think Michigan had more self-inflicted drive stoppers and turnovers? Michigan had more miscues than Bama and really should have won walking away. Nick finds it hard to accept that other teams are better. Maybe the EPSN-paid committee will intervene and put Bama in the championship game because....well because that's what ESPN wants. Bama didn't deserve being in playoff and were just lucky, most notably needing a miracle to beat an Auburn team that was blown out by New Mexico State the week before. The SEC obviously isn't as dominant as the narrative suggests, and the SEC was down. Big 10 and Pac 10 better, and ACC even had a winning record against the SEC.

Young team with a lot of HP coming back and coming in. They did good against a team that had mostly 5 and 6 year grown ass men on it.
All in all was still a pretty good game & season.Its not always going to be a perfect game. Michigan played a good game. We still had a good season. Don’t blame the coaches for everything, they got the team this far this season. First congratulations to the team after all the hard work this year and phenomenal season! AL, somehow fell back to beginning of year habits, rhythm broken, sometimes that is hard to get back. I thought both teams in the end played a little tense and "not to lose". Someone had to win. MI did a good job of summoning all the right conditions at the end to tie/win. I certainly thought that 20 points was enough at that time on the clock. I blame UGA, if they hadn't been so effective last year, MI would not have been as effective this year. :D. I was very confident for this game. If MI plays like they did against Bama they will lose to a very good WA team.

Any defense can sack Mildew. He is so bad at accuracy, he has to wait for a receiver is wide open before he will over throw them 😂. Bama is supremely talented and should’ve dominated Michigan but due to having Milroe at QB the offense is very very simplified to cater to him. This is an entirely different Bama offensive attack as was with Tua, Mac Jones, Bryce Young, heck even Jalen Hurts. Michigan will not win the track meet vs Washington.

Lawson is a horrible linebacker. I thought he would be a Butkus Award winner and carry the torch. I can't see it now. He never watched the running back. That's his one job. He didn't have any big hits this season or attacked the offensive linemen in the gaps.
I gotta be honest. Alabama (Talent wise)is the most talented team in the CFP. The Achilles heel for Bama this year is…Milroe. The offense really is limited with his lack of QB offensive understanding. He can’t read the field quick enough. He is very herky jerky in the pocket. Takes way too long to read coverages (hence high number of sacks). If I’m being real..He is not an intelligent QB. Great athlete for sure and sounds like a good person but man when he gets the ball in his hands it’s 50/50. 50% explosive play and 50% turnover play. Julian Sayin needs to take the reins and ask Milroe to move to RB or just an athlete role on the team.
