@Jason Hoffman how does SLHD accommodate multi-camera feeds? Do they have to be all one brand, or can you mix’s match? What acts as your video/audio switcher & mixer?
SLHD is a 'pass thru' service. You send a stream to their RTMP address and they send it on to YT or FB to your RTMP address, after adding the overlays. If you are using a switcher like ManyCam, TopDirector or Switcher Studio you can use whatever those apps allow. Still just plugging RTMP addresses in. Mevo app only allows Mevo cameras.
@@wmartonejr I am much more familiar with the Mevo system and love it. I have tried TopDirector and got it to work for a while then couldn’t anymore. ManyCam works well but only uses smartphones unless I control from a laptop/pc.
I’d start with what you already have. Even if its a cell phone. You can stream a ballgame with smartphone, GoPro or Mevo. When setting up your account in SLHD you tell it what you will be using. I will be using each of these at some point this season: Smartphone just to make sure I can, GoPro for wet weather and Mevo for the vast majority of them.
I believe the smaller footprint is only using sidelinescore since there is less information I think iScore is the same as your used to but I could be wrong.
I have a question. Can you use sidelineHD for clips and better scoreboard and the yolobox for multiple cameras. Would like to have 2 cameras. One for the infield or pitcher and batter. Then another for the outfield following the play. And I also had some people ask me while I’m streaming is their anyway to do replays. I had an umpire that missed a play and he asked me if I could get a replay of it. I had to stop the stream and go to it and he looked at and made the right call
YoloBox does replays. YoloBox will let you put the RTMP for SidelineHD in to stream there. You can multistream (one RTMP to SLHD and one to another destination). I think you can do all of what you are asking.
@@JasonHoffmanYT ok I stream to a Facebook page Perry county talk sports zone. I know both stream their So would it be the same as when I used my GoPro then.
If I stream with sideline HD with a single mevo start and do not use any scoring do they still send highlights? I'm guessing not but thought I would ask.
So I do not have portable wifi hotspot and am currently using a Samsung S22 Ultra and Mevo start. Not sure I am able to livestream with sideline HD and also keep score with sideline score on my phone.
@@mike_saw_7563 this would be a challenge. If another parent/fan would be willing to score, SidelineScore would get you all you need for highlights. Their phone scoring plus your setup streaming equals win!
I had to have my volume up very high to hear on my android phone. At the halfway volume it was barely audible. Love your videos by the way. I have been binge watching them over the last week. We bought 3 mevo starts to do our City Council meetings. I may have questions for you at some point 😉

@@JasonHoffmanYT out of curiosity which are you using/finding to be the most user friendly? (I’ve only used Switcher Studio)

What type of camera do you use? Is a go pro ok? Or is a mevo camera much better? I am just trying to get started and I have no idea

So you use SLHD for the steam and iScore for the stats? Will the iScore integration update SLHD info (eg. balls, strikes, score ect...)
Yes it will! And this season I used Sideline's SidelineScore which is a browser based, simplified version of score keeping to feed their scoreboards.
I believe the smaller footprint is only using sidelinescore since there is less information

That’s good to know. Thanks John!
@@JasonHoffmanYT 👍. Did this video end abruptly by accident. ? You were talking in mid thought, and video stopped
It was more of an awkward attempt to create anticipation.😂 BUT thanks for watching all the way to then end of a video!!
What about audio? Can you turn off the background audio that FB monitors?
We can only mute the mics. SLHD puts a disclaimer up but whether it works for your stream is still to be seen.

I gave up the iPad and run on a Galaxy Tab S7 tablet. i can run iScore/Mevo/Pocket Radar together in Samsung's Dex mode for SLHD.
I may have to join you. It’s so attractive to have multiple apps running on the control device, but I’ve been apple only for sooo long.

It’s the scoring which lets them know what to highlight.

You left me hanging...lol
Coming soon to a screen near you…😄
Sound is so low I can't hear it.
Thanks for the feedback but when I reviewed it the sound was at the same level as the ad playing before the video started.

I appreciate the feedback on the volume! And would be glad to answer questions if I can.
