The sealer you used for the second pass (thanks for admitting to a mistake - that is how we ALL LEARN!) - is Direct Colors - I have never used before but good to know. Thanks. The blue paint and backsplash really give this project a great look.
Pretty impressive and well done for even having the balls to do that job. I would be pretty worried about it but you smashed it. And I bet you are good at baking a cake!
The sealer linked says Matt finish. You said that turned yellow. What is the final sealer that you used? You said it had a satin finish. I can’t afford to waste money on sealer that will turn yellow. I need all the helpful hints that I can get. Much appreciated 😀
They did stain a bit Alyssa, I am not sure if they need a better seal or if we should have done something differently. As long as she doesnt cut things on the counter or leave colored things on it, its fine.
Sorry just seeing this, I used direct colors just make sure you get the right clear coat and do lots of coats of the seal. It’s prone to staining with popsicle and food grease
You are always willing to stretch yourself!! Way to go!
Nice job! Loved the cat prints. Kind of like putting a handprint/date in a concrete slab.
Haha right?! I kinda wanted to leave them 🤣
Hi Brandi..great work, I love that look, don't think I've seen this done in white..take care...
Thanks for watching
Love it, thinking of doing to bath vanity

Not great at cake baking but thank you!
Good job!
Would love to see an update on this, how is it holding up?
Great idea. Can you tell us the concrete you used and where to get it. Thanks
Awesome job
Really beautiful!!
Great what kind of concrete did you use ?
That's not a trowel thats a drywall knife a float would have made easy work out of it

same question here satin/matte?
8:43 - Those prints _definitely_ need to stay!
1:33 - Damn, that is a sweet mask. You called it an RZ mask?
Amazing.👍🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
Great video! Liked, Subscribed!
Awe thank you!!! I really appreciate that
New subscriber 👍🏿
Thanks for being here!!
I would have liked to see how you did the edges. This video skipped over that part.
True I should have showed that better but it was a rounded Formica so I just spread it right over the edge
What size bag did you you use to cover her countertops
I went with a 50lb
@@EternalHarvestDecor ok thanks hun
What's the durability of this? Does it flake or crack easier? And does it mark easy?
It’s stained a bit from kid stings and colorful items. I’d make sure to seal it super well
Niceeeeee! Have they stained at all after 6 months? Is there any upkeep to consider?

Did you use the overlay along with the skim coat or would skim coat be enough?
I think one or the other would probably be enough just seal it really well
Which concrete did you actually use for this project? Trying to do this same thing this weekend

Where you get the white overlay
Hey Sean I linked it all in the description
I mean Shaune
@@EternalHarvestDecor what size lb you purchased if you can remember?
PLEASE ADD LIST OF TOOLS&MATERIALS U USED..IT IS BEAUTIFUL🤩🙋🏼♀️💜
Thanks it’s all listed in the description
All-in-all what was the approximate total cost per foot?
Materials for this were around 400 but I’m not sure on square foot cost it was for a friend so I can’t go back and calculate, I’m sorry!
i would have left the kitty cat prints
haha we thought about it
How does the underside look like?
Just like the underside of Formica. I didn’t do anything to that side
