Being the two together, Kody is the one who is aware of the needs of the children. It's an irony that Kody was even neglectful of Truely and Truly nearly died for her lack of commitment. It was the same with the other children. We also saw what he did to Isabel. He was not even financially responsible for the needs of his children with the other wives. In the case of Truely and Isabel, Kody can be accused of neglect, mistreatment and inhumanity. The have the right to sue him civilly.

I looked back at series 1&2 episodes to remind myself of the early days of the family. I noticed in one of the interviews prior to Robin marrying Kody that there was a disagreement between the OG wives and Robyn. She was taking issue with the fact that she didn’t get equal time and resources as Meri, Janelle and Christine…even though she wasn’t married yet! She justified her stance by stating that she had uprooted her entire life to marry into the family and that she had been courting Kody for an inordinately long time. I think this was an early example of her being selfish, having a sense of entitlement and a complete lack of emotional intelligence; even Meri, who was more likely to advocate for her than Janelle and Christine, thought Robyn was out of order in pushing for rights that are reserved for wives in their church.

I believe that the selfish act of Kody divorcing Mary and then legally marry Robin and her becoming the '1st' wife has caused the damage to the other wives. That act is what set Kody and Robin apart from the others. Mary was the safety net for others. When she divorced Kody, the trust was gone.

Robyn blocked Kody from being there for Ysabel for her surgery. She could have pushed him out the door and she did not. She put her victimness ahead of the needs of Ysabel and Christine.
Yesss!! She should have pushed him out the door to support Ysabel ( and Christine). IF her kids had cried about missing him she simply would have said,”Ysabel needs him more right now. We have each other, we’re fine.” And I’m not convinced those kids are that dependent on him. I actually don’t think Sol could care less about Kody. He doesn’t seem to want to be close to his dad when they’re on camera.
@Muriel I 100% agree. They could have face timed with their dad. They're not so "tender-aged" that they wouldn't understand his need to be with their sibling at that point. He should have been there.
Kody has said that Sobyn reinforces his relationship with his kids. That is a lie. She only reinforces his relationship with HER kids.
Sobyn has ALWAYS put HER needs above anyone else. Those were HER Rona rules. NOT Kootie’s. She just put on a good act.
That’s laughable. Cody is a grown man. He is fully aware of his responsibilities. This whole plural wife thing is immoral and so wrong in my estimation and belief system. No haters. I’m entitled to my opinions just as anyone else is!
