    Very interesting. Thanks for the detailed build instructions. How do you find the accuracy of the device when it comes to cutting picture frames?

      Thank you for your comment! The Stanley saw is very accurate and it makes smooth, clean fine cuts. BUT you need to fasten the saw tightly, before you start cutting. You can either screw it or clamp it to your work bench. And you ALSO need to lock your wood before cutting it. The two moveable yellow cam locks are very handy, and I also use two extra clamps to lock the wood. After that, the blade works beautifully from 45 to 90 degrees! I'm very happy with it!

      Thanks for your quick reply and feedback. It sounds like I should get one, too. Happy sawing!

      Ι highly recommend it! It's cheaper than an electric miter saw, portable, doesn't depend on electric power, and it cuts beautifully! Greetings!

    Thank you for the step by step assembly. I notice that there were 2 black circles with screws on it where do those go?

    • @IRENECRETE
      @IRENECRETE  7 лет назад +2

      Four (4) metal silver posts hold the blade. Two FRONT silver posts and two REAR silver posts. The two round black pieces are blade stops screws. They adjust the depth of the cuts, they adjust how low the blade can go. You place one at the bottom of the FRONT posts. You place the other one at the bottom of the REAR posts...at opposite ends and diagonally. Send me an email address and I can mail you a photo of them, if you don't understand. It's kind of hard to explain if you can't see it!

    Ωραίο review. Μπορώ να ρωτήσω, η βαση και τα πόδια του είναι μέταλλο ή πλαστικό;

    • @IRENECRETE
      @IRENECRETE  5 лет назад

      Σε ευχαριστώ για το σχόλιο! Τα μαύρα πόδια του είναι από σκληρό πλαστικό. Η ασημί βάση είναι από μέταλλο. Στα πόδια υπάρχουν ειδικές τρύπες για την τοποθέτηση βιδών (εάν επιθυμείς να το έχεις σταθερά βιδωμένο σε πάγκο εργασίας). Ολο το πριόνι είναι εξαιρετικής ποιότητας (δυνατή κατασκευή), δεν μου έχει παρουσιάσει σπάσιμο ή κάποιο άλλο πρόβλημα έως τώρα. Γενικά ότι εργαλείο Stanley έχω χρησιμοποιήσει, είναι άριστης ποιότητας.

    Hi, is there a similar tool for cutting lamellar boards, lamellar panels ?

    • @IRENECRETE
      @IRENECRETE  5 лет назад +1

      I'm not sure if there is a similar tool for cutting lamellar boards/panels. I would use a circular saw for lamellar boards.

    • @CanaleYouTubeGeneralista
      @CanaleYouTubeGeneralista 5 лет назад +1

      @@IRENECRETE Thank you for answering me, I didn't find anything either, if you happen to find any hand tools to cut the lamellar panels let me know, for now the circular saw is the only solution. A greeting. Hello.

      Hello there! I sure will let you know if I find any hand tools, but I think the circular saw is the best possible solution for now. Greetings!

    What is the size of the biggest log you can practically and comfortably cut in it?

    • @IRENECRETE
      @IRENECRETE  6 лет назад

      The maximum height for the blade is: 115mm. A log is round. So, I guess, it can cut any log with a diameter up to 115mm. Anything larger than that won't probably fit.

      The black legs are made of hard plastic (top quality). All the rest is made of metal (top quality).

    Can you do a demo cut of 90 degrees then to 45, and the to 90 again and tell us about the accuracy of the cuts ?

    • @IRENECRETE
      @IRENECRETE  7 лет назад +1

      I'm out of town on a business trip and can't make a demo. But I have tried the saw in all angles (90 / 75 / 60 / 45) cutting different planks of wood, and the cuts are accurate. As I have already mentioned in a previous comment, the important thing to remember before cutting wood is 1. Screw/clamp the saw to your workbench 2. Lock the wood securely.

      Cool, thanks for the info.
      It would be super if you upload a video with the saw in action.
