Hi, well, i didn't really like the idea of using zippers, cheese cloth, and lace etc on a canvas but as it got closer to completion i was amazed at what a beautiful canvas it turned out to be. Please keep up the beautiful works of art and thank you for sharing them with us. xx
Beautiful stunning art!. I am lacking in terms of plentiful materials (embellishments) and canvas boards, yet once stocked up again will be back to watch this amazing tutorial all over again!
I need help and I'm hoping someone can answer me. Which canvas are you using for this type of layering? Is this a normal canvas used for oil painting? And are you using the fabric hardener itself to glue the pieces? I'm a little confused. I've been trying to layer things on an oil painting canvas but they don't stick for a long time. I've used tacky glue to stick wash tapes and paper scraps but they eventually wrinkle or curl :( please give me tips.
Cup I’ve only just seen this video and this question and just had to answer. I use ordinary canvas (used for acrylic painting) or cheaper canvas boards. Both available on Amazon. Many people use a heavy gel for gluing or multi purpose glue or even a hot glue gun. Hope this is STILL helpful to you. Best wishes.
Borley Nun. Hi lol I had to read my post and remember hard what I meant and what I asked. It’s been a while 😅 Thank you for answering though 🙏🏻 Very valuable info. I used oil canvas because it’s what I found erected on wood. With acrylic I’m not sure I’ve seen any set up like that. I mainly fine acrylic sheets but I’ll look more I might be wrong. Thanks again 🙏🏻
Just getting into mixed media art, you are a wonderful inspiration. Love this piece
