  • This video shows you how to use Knauf Insulation Glass Mineral Wool (GMW) with ECOSE® Technology applied between and below rafters. And made airtight using the Homeseal LDS system.
    1/ Apply GMW with ECOSE ® Technology rolls or slabs between the rafters.
    2/ Fix KI multizap threaded suspension rods, spaced 600 mm apart, using the dedicated screwdriver accessory and bit
    3/ Install GMW with ECOSE® Technology rolls or slabs to fill the thickness of the purlins in horizontal direction over the Multizap.
    Fasten the Multizap suspension clips immediately.
    4/ Apply the rest of the GMW with ECOSE® Technology and fix the metal angle on the wall, just between the purlins.
    5/ Attach the metal furring profiles to the Mutlizap suspension clips.
    6/ Apply Homeseal LDS Solifit 2 (2-sided adhesive tape) to the metal profiles.
    7/ Remose the release foil of the Solifit 2 tape.
    8/ Apply KI Homeseal LDS Vapour Control Layer across the metal profiles, ensuring that they are bonded to the Homeseal LDS Solifit 2, and that there is an overlap of 10cm.
    9/ Tape the overlaps of the VCL with Homeseal LDS Soliplan.
    10/ Use KI Homeseal LDS Solimur adhesive glue to create an airtight connection of the VCL with the wall and floor.
    11/ Fix the Knauf plasterboards in the direction of the slope.
    12/ Trim the overlength of the VCL at wall and floor.
