Great list. Glad you put in multiple Stiegers, aside from Big Bud they were the original big boys, heavy as heck, and brutish power all day. Great finds in such excellent condition.
My to Favorite 4X4 Tractors were Thee CASE TRACTORS They are Thee BEST as far as I'm concerned Wish They Still Produced them today l would Buy one in a Heartbeat
I grew up in SW Ohio in the 80s operating a Steiger Cougar with an 855 Cummins,a powerhouse and a sweet sounding engine to top it all off......definitely my favorite
Nice job all year Jason!!! Thanks for all your videos. For someone like me who grew up on a farm in the mid 70s through the 80s that no longer has the opportunity to be on the farm anymore, your videos bring back a lot of great memories with my dad who passed away 8.5 years ago.
The Tiger and the JD 7520 was my favorites.Reminds me of days long ago, when I was able to drive a JD 8630,that was a lot of fun, especially only being 14 yrs old,how I miss those days. There is not much need for those big brutes around here where I live, but sure would like to climb in one again.
I have spent many hours in a tiger pullin a 80ft friggstad and loved it wish there were still some of them ole beasts still around here. great vid keep it up
What did he have, newer Agco FWA stuff? Air cooled or did that end with Duetz? How did you like them. They are hard to find in my area but I grew up on orange and now have 90 acres. Need a do it all. You recommend them? Thanks.
The Steiger tiger was the pick for me I have loved to operate and ride with a operated that 400 horse power is a blast to work with thank u for the RUclips film
I have to agree the Tiger was the pick tractors but the 8020 Jdeeres were very close behind. I would have liked to see someone the FW series Ford articulated series tractors too.
Boy you know what I was going to pick one but how can you they are all great and part of our agricultural heritage I can be doing chores our what ever and have an tractor go boy and I can tell what it is by it,s sound really enjoyed this video wish dad was still here to have seen this thanks so much for a wonderful evening with big tractor power
Great video!! I love all of your videos, always look forward to a new one being released. Love the Steigers, been my favorite for decades. I was fortunate enough to see the Panther Twin ST-650 prototype at the farm progress show in Indiana back in 1976 (I was a junior in high school at the time), too bad it never went into production. It was WELL worth the 4hr bus ride to see it!! I wish there was a video of it somewhere but guess it doesn't exist. Thanks again for all your great videos and the hard work you do researching and creating them. Hope you (and all your viewers) have a very Happy New Year!!
You nailed it with the Mighty ST450 Tiger. My fav tractor for about 40 years. I think I seen a Allis Chambers in the background, they were always a pretty cool tractor too.
The Tigers are cool tractors. That was an 8550 back there. I have featured it a few times so it did not make it in this years top 10 but it is a very cool tractor.
My neighbor had a big bud growing up in Southern MI, I would always watch them work a field if it was close just amazed me it would make such short work out of a field that would take me all day in my grandpas 8030 Allis.
An AC 8030 is a cool tractor. What implements did your Grandpa use with it. Big Bud built just over 500 tractors from 1969 to 1991. Montana, California, Arkansas, Louisiana, Florida, Michigan and Ohio seem to be the main places they were sold in.
@ bigtractorpower, it would pull a JD 6 bottom wo a problem, my gpa was a Allis tractor man but his other field implements were a total miss match, my favorite to work a field was probably a old ford field cultivator I can’t remember the model no but it would work up the ground in good fashion, he had some nice older Oliver disks also that did the job.
That 450 Tiger was a monster in its day!!! I would like to see the JD 8850 in action. Always figured they looked mean and nasty! Too bad they were lemons. 1150 Versatile would be another cool old tractor to see in action. Another monster that was a bit of a lemon that could break you. Lol. Thanks for great vid!
I have an 8850 already to go for 2020. It would be great to see an 1150 or 1156 next year. I got to film an 1150 in 2012 and would like to get updated footage.
875, 855, 835 and 876, 856 and 836 versatiles were good non expensive tractors. Reliable, simple, cheap to operate and repair. Versatile made a 6 wheel drive tractor the "big roy". 600 hp.
I would love to see a Steiger Lion. I know some Steiger Panther and Cougar was shipped over to Europe, i haven't seen any though myself. The biggest fwd from those decades i've seen wasn't even American, but instead Volvo BM 2650 and a JD 4550 or a similar John Deere Model. Then i've seen a Ford TW15 or TW25 which is a quite common sight in Sweden where i live. I know that the TW25 has FWD and is quite valueable and sells for a decent price tag in Sweden. Those are the only ones i've seen but i hope to see one of these big machines soon. It was a Volvo BM 2654 i meant. I mixed the numbers. The 2650 was the 2 wheel drive version of the 2654, so yeah, a little edit there
Have a soft spot for all the Steigers. That Lion is a rare find and because of how few there are has to be the pick. I was watching for that 4786 of yours from the start and would not have kicked if you made that your number one. I know you really made yourself a present picking that one up. Thanks for putting this video together. I will say going in, I was watching for a Versatile too. Was not rare, but the 875 seemed to hit the sweet spot in the market for 4 wd tractors.
Thanks for watching. The 4786 is cool but a Tiger III trumps it all day long. I felt bad but I did not get to film a single Versatile this year. An 875 would be a great find in 2020.
Was that your IH 4786? She is sweet. I grew up in an IH dealer. Coolest and rarest 4wd I remember was a IH 4100, in industrial yellow. It was even more rare with a cab. I wish I knew what happened to it. Hopefully not scrapped and melted into Honda parts.
Seeing that Tiger in Rantoul was probably my favorite part of the show this year so good choice on number 1. In a close second for me is also your second, the 4894. Great styling, color scheme, power, engineering. Just a really cool and unique machine. I grew up about a half mile down the road from a White dealership so it's nice to see them get some love. I'm just now noticing something though, the rear fenders on the 4-210 seem unnecessarily high. Seems like they would really obstruct the view. I wonder why they were designed that way.
Since I had a 1985 Steiger Panther CM360, my favorited on your video is the Turbo Tiger 450 Steiger. Next is the JD 8020. Possibly that's my first choice.
Love that John Deere 7520 almost bought one a couple years ago just didn't quite have enough money to get the job done would love to see some early cat Challengers
My favorite is the McConnell Marc 1000. At 425 HP guessing it was maybe a 3406 Cat. Always seemed to me that a longer stroke engine would be a better choice for farm tractors. Wonder if anyone ever repowered a Detroit 71 series tractor with a Mack Maxidyne?
i cant make up my mind these MONSTERS are all beautiful and look great but the JD 7520 has always looked good but i dont know anything about driving it ...... happy new year Bigtractorpower
It was a very early 4wd, not a horsepower monster at all, but the beginning of some of the best. Obviously finding one working says a bit about how tough they are and still useful. Just not any modern luxuries, bare bone. The move to articulated 4wds changed farming, you could field weight them and put gigantic horsepower in it. We went from using a 18' disc after harvest to a 40' chisel plow with our Allis 8550. It was a super easy twin turbo 12.0 liter. Why it had 2 exhaust pipes. 45' cultivator at 5.5 miles an hour ate up the acreage. And finally had a radio and AC, quiet cab. The 4wds have so far surpassed these early guy with tech and comfort. More than you wanted to read I bet. Ha
I figured that Rite earthquake tractor from a video a few months back would be #1, and i was actually very surprised to see not see it on the list. but all tractors on the list were really cool
Thanks so much. I really enjoyed this big brutes from the 70s and 80s. How many bottoms was the Steiger Tiger ST450 in the last minute of this 15-minute video??? Thanks for all your efforts in the field(s) and in the editing room. A great service!! - Dean from Minnesota
I like them all however#9 jumps out at me,because big bud used truck engines in some of there early tractors.I've driven several dump trucks with the 250 cummings they weren't fast but they pulled good.
While the Mcconell Marc was interesting(never seen one) ,the Steiger Lion too(forgot it existed!) , it's the Steiger Tiger that i like best. Steiger were the best of that era and those mid eighties machines still look great now.
Very cool.
Love seeing the old-school big iron tractors
Nice job all year Jason!!! Thanks for all your videos. For someone like me who grew up on a farm in the mid 70s through the 80s that no longer has the opportunity to be on the farm anymore, your videos bring back a lot of great memories with my dad who passed away 8.5 years ago.

Steiger Tiger! We had a Cougar III growing up and always loved them.
😁👍👍
This is why I love BTP! Great job Jason!
Agree on #1, the cab looks so cool with the tilting rear and front window.
You picked the right number one.
That McConnell Marc sure looked impressive. Never seen that one before. What a beast. Great job as always.
The McConnells are big square solid power. Big tractor at 425 hp in 1991.
Great video. It is fascinating to see what these old tractors will pull compared to a equal HP modern tractor. Love it.
I have spent many hours in a tiger pullin a 80ft friggstad and loved it wish there were still some of them ole beasts still around here. great vid keep it up
I love that staiger 3tiger. Awesome seeing that.
Great video BTP. Some really nice older tractors.
I love the White. I'm an IH guy but AGCO has some great stuff. That and my stepdad has owned 3 Allis Chalmers tractors.
What did he have, newer Agco FWA stuff? Air cooled or did that end with Duetz? How did you like them. They are hard to find in my area but I grew up on orange and now have 90 acres. Need a do it all. You recommend them? Thanks.
Love the big White Field Boss. Wonderful. I'd like to see more IH 4166 around though. I love those
The 4166 would be great to film. It is high on my wish list to film.
Look at that pulling power awesome
Boy you know what I was going to pick one but how can you they are all great and part of our agricultural heritage I can be doing chores our what ever and have an tractor go boy and I can tell what it is by it,s sound really enjoyed this video wish dad was still here to have seen this thanks so much for a wonderful evening with big tractor power
Thanks big tractor power!
That big V-8 powered 4786 at 8:40 sounds awesome.
I love green so the 7520 Deere is first with that Tiger a very close second...........Happy new year!
Thank you for watching. Happy New Year.
Boy am I looking forward to this 😍
The steiger tiger is grand. Have cousins that still use 2 in Australia. Beast and best tractor my old man sold in the land down under.👍🏻
Wow, never knew there was such a machine as a Steiger Lion. Besides my own JD 8970 i quite like the big Allis 4wd.
The Lion became the Case International 9180. It was shorted lived being released just before the Case IH / Steiger merger. The 8970 is a great 4wd.
I liked the Steiger Lion. I never heard of it before. It looked like a beast! Thanks for the great video.
The Lion is a rare one. It was only made one year and became a Case International 9180.
Thanks for the demonstration of power.
Beautiful machines.
Thanks for the video. All of them are impressive. Happy new year from germany!
Great video!! I love all of your videos, always look forward to a new one being released. Love the Steigers, been my favorite for decades. The last Steiger Tiger was awesome, and then I like the International like yours, it looks robust and solid in the all red colors
The Steiger Tigers were monster machines in their day. It was fun to take my 4786 and run a 50ft harrow on it.
Awesome, I wondered if it is you going there
IH 2+2, JD 8850, Oliver or MM 4wd. Enjoyed your top 10. Live those Steiners.
Love them all
BTP, Thanks for the trek down memory lane!
Thank you for watching.
All good so many more should be too 100
Thank you for watching.
that tiger is sweet, we have a panther pta 325 that's close to my heart so my favorite in your video is the lion 1000. awesome stuff BTP.

Let’s get a Butler County 4366 in 2020 😁👍👍
Awesome selection. Love the Steiger green monsters.
😁👍👍
Awesome video
They were all my favorite big badass farm equipment
Tiger all the way!
😁👍👍

My favorite in this video is definitely the Steiger Tiger III, what a find! I wish Ertl would make a model of it.
Thank you for watching. Tiger IIIs are impressive.
bigtractorpower I’m looking forwards to more videos of your personal tractor!
All the best for 2020, keep up the good work
Happy New Year.
Like all the tractors on the list. Hard to pick just one.
Thank you for watching.

...WHITE 4-210...like mine..boy I like em all...
We had a neighbor with a Steiger Tiger. He was THE MAN.. LOL
John Deere 7520, Classic Look I was able to buy my uncle's that he bought new in 1973. Still have it and I always will.

You should be on tv!
A Case Ih 4994 would be interesting to see.
Any Big Bud, then the Steiger Lion. The Lion for its looks. Thanks for all of them.
Good job! Like the the big articulated tractors.
Seeing that Tiger in Rantoul was probably my favorite part of the show this year so good choice on number 1. In a close second for me is also your second, the 4894. The Panther IV is a nice tractor. The 8020 was a rare find with the F180 plow. I think only 10 F180s were built.
Love the tiger.. I have a wildcat & bearcat & cougar love the old girls
You have pictures ??
@@38klootzak yes
@@38klootzak I don't know how to send pictures
Very very nice video
Love that John Deere 7520 almost bought one a couple years ago just didn't quite have enough money to get the job done would love to see some early cat Challengers
The 7520 is a cool tractor. Stay tuned for more Challenger.
Love the video !!!
i liked the tiger. that thing is neat!
😁👍👍

I drove a brand new 850 volatile in 1974 75,loved the beauty six Cummins
Dude awesome video loved it!!!
I love to see the International 4wd tractors like yours! Maybe, one of these days, a video of the Big Bud 747? Happy New year to you and your family.
I always liked Case tractor. that is what my dad had, never had a 4 wheeldrive .
Aí q é trator classicao

Enjojed that video btp. 👍👍
My fav is the Case 4894! I always liked the muscular look.
It’s a cool tractor and rare to see in white rather than red
@@bigtractorpower You're absolutely right. I see the red ones more often but something about the white pre-merger that is special.
I figured that Rite earthquake tractor from a video a few months back would be #1, and i was actually very surprised to see not see it on the list. but all tractors on the list were really cool
Q maravilha de tratores
Thank you for watching.
bonjour j' adore toute vos videos, si jabitais pas ci loin je viendrais bien ,en conduire. merci pour vos videos
bonjour, continuer a nous montrer vos tracteurs merci.
Feliz año nuevo
I thought your tractor would be your #1 choice for sure.
The 4786 is a cool tractor but the 4894 is more rare and the Tiger III is a monster and it was just fully restored.
I LIKE THOSE tires on the Stieger 450
😁👍👍
great vid its got to the TIGER POWERFUL
Good Working HP! - Doug in Iowa
Nice
I like the light green Stiegers
I liked the Allis in the background of The last tiger
That is an 8550. It appears in this video ruclips.net/video/rNeXOr24SgY/видео.html
👍👍 I'd like to see a New Holland T9!
Happy new year Jason, see you next year
I’m not a John Deere guy. If I have to pick green I pick Oliver. But that jd 8020 sounded amazing and looked too unique to ignore
Thank you Dean. The ST-450 is pulling a 15 bottom Wil-Rich.
Wow that 1961-64 215HP tractor at about 4:45 is precious !
1150 Versatile would be nice to see. Was a beast in it's day as well.
Yes it would. I filmed an 1150 and 1156 in 2012. I would really like to film both of those tractors again.
You have to make a trip up here to the Great White North. I'm sure you could find a few.
I've never seen a Steiger Lion, wow!
I like them all however#9 jumps out at me,because big bud used truck engines in some of there early tractors.I've driven several dump trucks with the 250 cummings they weren't fast but they pulled good.

Hmmm...How about filming a rare 4-270 White built from 1983-87 B.T
P.??.
The 4-270 would be awesome. I got on on video in late 2018 on a grain cart. Hopefully I can catch one in tillage.
that Lion and that Tiger...
Steiger tiger 2. We have a steiger cougar and love to use it
My favorite was the IH. Hopefully you can find a IH 4100, 4166 or 4186 to film. Thanks for sharing your videos with us.
The 4100 series is high on my wish list to film. Hopefully 2020 will be the year to film one.
Love the steiger tiger, I thought the 1150 versatile and the 8850 john deere may have got a look in?
Guess we think alike! Lol
We have 3 Deere 8850. All with 955 ci V8 engines.
