Deco foil is toner activated so you need a laser printer and a laminator. I made that mistake too, some foil are heat activated and some toner….lol..need to keep those apart

Deco Foil is not heat activated foil......it's the Laser Printer ink that activates it with the heat (or Hot Melt Adhesive if applying to fabric). Other wise Deco Foil works (without heat) with tacky adhesives or double-sided tape, etc (watch my video "7 Ways To Apply Transfer Foil To Crafts WITHOUT A MACHINE"). So the foils are different. But I think it was a great idea to try it and show that it didn't work for others that were probably wondering the same thing :) Hugs...Janie

Hi I am in the UK. I have a cameo 3 and I use Silhouette but what are your settings. Obviously I'm using cutting mat 12"X12" but what do you set your media size settings on?. Thank you

Try using the bottom of the mat as work space and not the top it will be easier to remove foil before you cut

If I had to buy only two foil quills one for outline one for fill, would you recommend the bold for the fill or the standard, as I see you have used the standard tip.
