i see this show every year since it came out and i cry every time. Probably because i get really drunk for the last 2 episodes. or probably because of my depression. One of those... probably both.

Oh come on there's no need to end the series. perhaps the producer could continue the series with season 2. Alaska was just pranking her friends and she's alive

Watching this video yet again, makes me want to watch this series again. It's a great video. I love your editing so much. You put so much emotion into it and always choose the best quotes to pair with scenes and scenes for verses.

I watched this show too many times. like 7 times in the past week. got little too addicted since alaska as a character is too interesting. hard to figure out in fact impossible to figure out. since what is true is one thing but what is true to who is another. her death reminded me of a real good friend of mine. in terms of this group of friends, he was the alaska in the group. he died from covid, but he helped me get through mental barrier at the time whilst still handling his dark side and kept it hidden. similar to alaska he ran away from home due harsh parents. But because he put up a good face nobody knew but his aunt( where he stayed for a year or 2). he was 1 or 2 years older than me so he had his license at his time. he allowed me to drive his car when i came over for the night (before covid obviously and yes i had no form of license). we had plans for after covid and after i got my license but since he wasnt alive , between us 2 the plan was finalise but was never put into action. but fortunately for our group, 3 of us got our license during the pandemic and we put that plan into action as what you could say a road trip dedicated in memory of him. i remember my grieving process was denial like Miles at first and when i got told he wasnt eating properly and had covid it was only a matter of time. so after my denial phase, i basically went to be like Colonel and drove excessively, in fact i drove a full tank of fuel in 2 day so thats like 600 miles. at tht time i didnt know what to do with these emotions. When i watched looking for alaska it reminded me at first of my story, since it was similar but way WAY different. ig in the same group of friends im the alaska now. ive experience probably alot for a 20 year old. ive seen 2 relative died, a really close friend died, my parents divorced, grandparents that just love arguing over anything with anyone under the same roof, mental health issue (formerly) and currently my dads mum in the final stage of life with lung cancer anytime now she could leave us just a matter of when... what i like about looking for alaska is the fact im able to relate to every main character at some point in life. its been 2.5 years since my close friend death. although im well past the grieving phase, it still upsetting but not so much that i would take my life. this series took me to places and changed my perspective on life. as rough my life has been, ive never felt the same suffering i have when my close friend died.
