I think the official Squishmallow boxes are better, and more reliable when it comes to price and randomness compared to some of the random websites. It's your choice, but I prefer the official Squish boxes.

I live near their brick and mortar locations and the nonsense that was pulled during the HT Mothman and bat release was NO okay. (Selling “preorders” for $60 a piece. They are not authorized retailers. They are not affiliated with HT. Their stores are just conveniently located next to hot topics in many malls.) HT didn’t have a 1 per customer rule on release and every single HT that was in the same mall as a TT was wiped clean. (And sadly there’s 7 TTs out here, so finding a HT without a TT next door is insanely hard to do.) Magically the HTs that were not in the same mall as a TT had the exclusives in stock. It got to the point that the HTs in this district had to implement a 1 per customer rule for restocks and for all future releases. Squish hunting in this area is a desolate wasteland since we are surrounded by them. They brazenly resale and don’t even bother to remove the other stores tags. While yes, *maybe* some of their inventory is purchased as overstock - Kohl’s specifically sends their overstock to TJ Maxx. Please don’t shop from them or endorse them.

I got the Giant 16 inch Parry Winkle Colored Deer from my local Kohl’s store just before Xmas 🎄 last year, every Winter I go Crazy for anything with Deers so a Squishmallow Deer for Xmas 🎄 that year was Perfect for me. And just last month I got the again Giant 16 inch Yellow Rose from Kohl’s for Valentine’s Day, it was the only one that they had and I felt bad for her because she was very very dirty so I got her for Half price and I cleaned her up in my tub 🛁 and then she went for a ride in the Dryer on Air Fluff Only for about 2 and a half hours and she was just like New again and I used some of my Rose Essential Oil on her so she would smell like Roses too.
Raven you are single-handedly the reason I have spent $85 AUD in a 24 hour period on squish 🥹 I got a 16 inch/40 cm Pace, and the Cam and Cora hug mees when I specifically told myself Halloween squish only 😂😂😂
Please please please please don’t buy from Toy Temple. They’re shelf-clearers/toxic resellers. There’s 7 brick and mortar stores in my area and squish hunting is horrible out here because of them. (Mothman and Purple Bat) Instead they just walked next door and cleared the shelves on release day. (Easy to be first in line when you have a key to enter the mall before any customers can) Every HT that had a Toy Temple in the same mall was absolutely wiped clean. (Which is a good 80%of the HTs out here.) It was so bad that HT in this district had to release a 1 per customer rule after that (that rule didn’t exist in our area pre-release. And it does kind of suck for those that were looking to get one for themselves and a friend). Their conduct in the squish community is absolutely horrific. Please do not endorse them. Please do not purchase from them. They are not a “sweet little privately owned toy company.” They are scammers hiding behind a logo and drastically hurting our squish community.

$10 for a 5” in the us- us in the uk have been scammed big time at Claire’s- it’s £25 for a 5” in Claire’s in the uk and this was even before inflation however hmv sell off brand squishmellows for £25-£35 and they’re bigger than the 5” Claire’s and I got a Dino from hmv and I’m so happy with him, I named him nugget because he is shapped like a chicken nugget lol and he’s more fluffed than aquishmellows
