The most difficult part for me was removing the cover. One word of caution: I should have paid more attention to the volume button: it needs to be carefully set so the cover can be pushed back on. Also, the configuration on my note 9 was slightly different from the phone shown, but the procedure was more/less the same. Phone is back together and as far as I can tell is charging and all device elements are working as before. Thanks for posting this video and recommending the tools.

You can use adhesive or glue..
my charging port have black flex in the bottom together with sub board flex but the black flex is not attached to sub board flex
