One can (rere)reread his expedition books, he was an amazing writer apart from being one of the greatest conservationists.

Thank you, he was my hero in my childhood in Brazil, when as a boy I had my own mini version of his collection.

I remember seeing his show on TV as a boy, and enjoyed his style of narration that appealed to all ages, it was his humour that really came through. I recently started to listen to his books once again these many years later, and realize only now how important a man he was, and the Jersey Trust is. His is an important legacy, one that may help slow, and even stop the total degradation of nature and all it's amazing life. More nations must know about, and adopt his practices.
