You got her sister, looking for ones with simple designs with plenty of potential, her brother, going for ones with shitpost potential, her mom, rejecting the overly edgy ones and looking for ones she can make more wholesome, and her dad, struggling with the touch screen (I can relate).

As someone with a disability (chronic not a loss of limb or sense) it was beautiful to see Stephen accepting of his fate and how Marie was handling it. That’s how it goes a lot of times with family members of people who develop disabilities or diseases later on in life. Like Eda’s mom in Owl House. And how Stephen reminded her that he really was still there and still himself. Forcing people to relive the trauma that disabled them in order to try and “fix them” instead of letting them adapt and move forward is an issue a lot of people don’t even realize they’re going through or doing to their loved ones. Thank you Ney for how well done it was!
Oh, and just cuz they may take the doctor up on his offer doesn’t make it ableist in anyway. That’d be like thinking it’s wrong for someone going blind to get surgery. Working to make yourself more comfortable (like getting a fucking metal plate off your face that’s literally the only thing holding your face together) is a very typical and normal part of the disability experience

@@stingchameleon769 @stingchameleon769 There was this channel Markiplier (And his Woman, forgot her name) and Crank Gameplays made, called Unus Annus (One Year in Latin). In a year they would delete the channel, and they did. They're slogan was "Menento Mori" (remember you will die or something like that). Its exactly what it sounds, they did a bunch of random activities and went to a bunch of places for one year. Near the end of the channel anniversary, they did a 12-hour livestream on youtube. The piano music in this video was used multiple times in the livestream, I'm trying to find the song's name. At the end of the live stream they deleted the channel, and the merch store and other social media slightly before. The theme was life is on a timer therefore you should cherish every moment.

I love how everyone picked characters and changed them according of how they look in Neytirix's eyes and their personality. The father picked the scary stick exit sign, the mother picked the Punk Rat and made him have a guitar and not a bloody bat, the brother picked a carpet dragon and made him do something funny, the sister just picked something that seemed funny and last but not least, Neytirix made something that she was best at.
It was certainly a very cool video to watch!
These series legitemately become much more addictive to watch compared to actual shows they put on tv as well as this is way more suspenseful and impactful !

Most shows like this don't go on TV because it's an animation, it would probably go for kids and then get lots of law suits for being to scary or to graphic for children.

I love that when the Doctor is moving, you just hear all of his bones and joints snapping, groaning, popping, and just all around making sounds straight out of a horror movie! Keep up the outstanding work, no matter if it takes you a few hours, or if it takes you a few months!

I love the doctors design. The brutally mechanical design just hits home so much more than the incredibly human designs most like to make when making robots. It’s like theirs so much more going on under the cloak that it’s hiding to try and make itself even faintly resemble something more human.
Your "In house doctor" design is a wonderful idea where he's not fully drawn in view so his cloak design allows for such a variety of ideas and designs. I love what you do with him

12:32 thats a fantastic idea for sifting the designs.
NOTE, you can make a bot that compiles people images and details, so that you can access the post to the images you like.
Which should compile the images into a single channel then link back to the posts.
Alternatively each time you pick, you can lock the channel, emote tag the ones you picked to lock the users ability to get another token, then refund all the tokens to the people who havent been chosen.
Thus giving them a chance in the next episode.
OR
New tokens per episode.
New room to post.
BUT users who were chosen for an episode are given a role to indicate they already got redesigned. (maybe the role is identical each episode but with the number episode they were in)
This should help you keep track of who has taken a turn or the stuff you've done so far.

Dude I absolutely adore minor details like the mask movement at 7:09. Mechanical, unnatural, subtle. The "glorified slideshow" animation makes moments like this stand out far better imo.

I love the fact that you’re worldbuilding around the skillshare pufferbunny like this- Steven and Marie being special because they survived encountering him also stands out a whole lot more when the paramedic in the van had literally died before that scene, ha. And a whole eight minutes of the story?! I know how crazy it is to make an animatic last that long, and with that amount of detail? Extremely impressive, I love it!
Also, redesigns are awesome as always. I love the way you reimagine characters, and watching these videos always helps my artblock yeet away! Overall, wonderful.

Actually he's pretty spot on. It depends on the type of carpet and what the customer wants. So, like, my mental rule of thumb for when my dad brings me to help is that on commercial jobs we glue it down or we use tack-less strips and on residential we laydown the padding (which was rarely glued), staple it and tape the seams, get the carpet down, and then step on the edges where the carpet meets the walls so that the metal thingies (just realized I have no idea what the metal bits are called. Spikes maybe?) on the tack-less pierce through the underside of the carpet to stop it from moving.
Don't quote me on this stuff, my dad's the professional and me and my bro just get dragged along to help and get paid the "family discount" *cough cough* half of minimum wage *cough cough*. Jokes aside tho, 40+ years of this stuff is kinda killing his back and knees so at this point of him teaching us the small stuff me and my bro could probably rip up and install some carpet competently. It wouldn't be bad but it won't be amazing or anything. Either way it'd take us 2-3 times as long as dad.
On another note: the staple gun that the dragon's using is a pain in the ass to unjam. That's why we also have a staple hammer! : ) (For the padding at least. It doesn't work to well on carpet so... Yeah, three old staple guns with at least one jammed at any given point.)
The last one brought a tear to my eye, it was funny.
Almost as hilarious as the mysterious doctor referring to you finding yourself in the _public_ health system.

These intros have this great New Grounds feel to them. Just that balls to the wall creativity and dark atmosphere that you just can't get at easily due to how Family Friendly RUclips wants to be. Not to mention they really don't make it easy for artists to get their vids out as it used to be. So whatever you gotta do to keep these going, hope it works out.

People were rapidly joining and submitting their Oc’s to the point that discord went “hey uhhh, let’s not have thousands of people join all at once” before somewhat dying
It was bloody hilarious is what that was. I managed to join before discord kinda went bleh and watched the madness unfold.
I was one of the first to add my oc once the daisy daycare ad showed up and yeah, it was chaos!
I was one of the few first to join, I watched the discord go all wonky.
Nothing out of the ordinary. Discord's always been weak when it came to it's systems and accessibility traits for the 'Average Joe', but due to how easy it is for server owners, streamers and moderators to plug in and work their magic, it became irreplicable.
My theory on where this series will go:
The pony and dragon will eventually trick miss Ney into her own redesign machine, which will either lead to her having a new avatar that is either adorable or hideously disfigured. Or she'll do a face reveal.
Oh, she already did a face reveal in people of the lock, as it turns out, she actually looks like that
Pufferbunny did insist on Marie and Steven using Skillshare to study a class on how to draw and re-draw skulls. At that point I was thinking that was their plan, to trick Ney's character into a redesign.

Headcannon: Due to the car the "Doctor" was driving had the driving wheel on the right, it wasnt american; therefore either A: Ney's wounds were so extensive that is cost that much, or B: She had to pay for legal fees for the manslaughter of the one paramed
She's Australian, and as an Aussie myself, I can confirm that our cars do have steering wheels on the right. Healthcare is free here, but *petrol* on the other hand is a completely different story, so that's probably why

@@finndelacy5447 Ya, and generic white panel vans eat alot of gas because they are designed as light movers. I bet the doctor weighs quite a bit too so that won't help on the milage. He also seems like the kind of guy that keeps a 20 year old fuel inefficient van because it still works.

now most speed paints have some fun music, maybe some voice over explaining what the artist felt throughout the week or something, but then you get Neytirix ones which are REALLY good at mixing fun comedy and genuinely horrifying scenes together, i love it

gotta say... you have one of the most craziest coolest art styles! that Anubis drawing was friggin epic
the slideshow-y cinematics *ARE WHAT GIVES IT THE CHARM*
it's better to have janky moving PNGs, for the style, rather than fully animated proper animation... sorta like Epithet Erased, people still like it, and it brings the story forward better, with less work
Don't forget the human eyes are attracted to movement.
Oh and it takes 2000x less effort then individually animating each scene.
I agree that the slideshow-like effect is an integral part of the appeal. It also doesn't feel too frenetic, a lot can be happening and it won't be confusing. It gives time to really absorb the detail put into the work.
Please, it is almost a style of RUclips from what it feels like and it is really cool to just see something that I can feel you heart put into. Thank you for the video Neytrix.
As an animator, it’d be incredibly hard to fit neytirixs visual style into an animation pipeline. Many could but it’d look slightly off and too clean.
I love how the OCs are drawn so good but then Neytrix comes in and turn them into a god
I LOVE how this series of watching some genuinely incredible character designs has turned into an actual SHOW like I am intrigued by this
I can't even imagine the amount of work you do to make these videos. The art is always just so wonderful and the story is captivating, the characters are written in a way that makes them seem so... alive! Not the mention how gorgeous the designs are, like, they are always so creative and interesting and unique. Great video!!!
Watching the discord grow more and more chaotic was a blast honestly, especially seeing so many people's characters whizz by at the speed of sound, my own green little plant wizard guy included.

Wow I love how subtly you manage to work in the thing everyone is really being slammed by these days. Gas really is expensive right now so that joke really got me, but I know in the future once everything settles down it can still but funny, if only because of the doctor's delivery of the line.

In America right now, it's about five dollars per gallon. That's over double the two dollars and maybe 30 cents it's hovered at for most of my life.
@@randibillett472 I just stumbled on this but uh, the answer isn’t too impressive. There is in fact another factor that you forgot to consider. United States use an outdated unit system (which at this point is admittedly hard to change). 1 gallon is roughly 3.8 liters. Unless the previous commenter took that into account in which case I’m sorry. But from a quick google search it’s likely the price is actually quite similar with money and unit conversion taken into account. Thanks for reading this essay and have a good [time]!

I like that the story is told in two forms, light-hearted and humorous, dark and depressive. It is nicely connected with the fact that the author has two main forms of drawing. I can't wait for the next episode!
For your confusion on protogens and primagens (Prime-a-gen), primagens are less organic, more tech, and more raptor like in appearance/posture with a more rigid, rectangular visor. And the protogens (in lore) are like the cheaper, more common, lesser alternative to the primagen
Oh, and Primagens cost an arm and a leg to own.

I will also Add that in the Lore Protogen came first, They where created as a general workhorse drone like species that was not restricted to AI. Then later on the Primagen was created as the Upgraded versions of the species. In essence the Prime-Gen compared to the Proto-Gen.

I kinda love how you’ve put your character in the position they’re in. Part side character, part unknowing antagonist, part comedic relief. It’s a really neat concept, and you aren’t the main protagonist like most people would be. Have some sparkles ✨✨✨✨✨
I not gonna lie, seeing the "to be continue" of the story and not even being half of the video made me curious about the rest of it. . . I completely forgot that the point of the video is redesigning OCs not the story in the beginning xD

Your work, as always, is fantastic! I think the glorified slideshow has it's charms. One thing I notice that there is a lot more detail in your glorified slideshow than in most animation, and I like that aspect of your work a lot. You turn it into a glorious slideshow :)
