I especially appreciate how you call attention to things that reviewers often overlook, like scale relative to other figures or lighting, since those elements play such a large part in the presentation/display of these figures. I also wonder whether you mean to obtain any of the Boba Fetts currently released by Hot Toys. It's actually quite intriguing not to see any of the Boba Fett variants in your collection, since the character often seems to be the catalyst for Star Wars collecting.

Man, those magnets are a really brilliant idea, cause I’ve been wanting to make my Darth maul figure to look like that and i should be getting my magnets delivered today.. never thought of that… 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼 I actually ordered black and just came across this video, who’d have thought? 🤣🤣🤣 I’m on the hunt for this figure.

its an awesome gift for sure,,and nice review parts section of each piece of these collectible..even i was amazed by the likeness and other viewers saying his lip or beard or something is way off..but when i got the figure there is nothing wrong with it.looks great to me and love it.if you put beside qui gon,light side anakin and yoda clone wars the presence shelf is sick..hopefully hot toys make mace windu right.that would be nice.

I can only point out the hair color being off, and even then it’s not that big of an issue for me. I have no idea why the collecting community blew this one up the way they did during release. AOTC Yoda is next on my list. I need to get him now that I have Obi, haha! We can only hope to get Mace Windu at this point. I was wondering the same thing, like what is up with all these people upset about this head sculpt? Looks like a pretty damn good Obi Wan to me, minus the hair color of course but even that is relatively minor. Ive considered getting this figure, and as much as I love the classic ROTS EP 3 look, his current 500-600 price range is just too high for my taste. Im thinking I may just pass on him and get the CW Obi Wan at retail instead. Are you planning on picking up CW Obi?
I have nooo idea. When I heard about it and looked into it, I couldn’t believe it. It’s literally just the hair color and even then it’s not THAT big of a deal to me. I was originally going to wait for either a CW or Kenobi show release before I picked this one up, but… SURPRISE! 😄 I’ll definitely be grabbing CW Kenobi. I have the CW Anakin w/ STAP so I’ll need him for sure. Can’t wait to hear what you think about him when Hot Toys drop the announcement for Kenobi! Thanks for watching. 😄🙏
The final product came out a little different. The portrait is softer and the clothing happen to have a bit more of a dirty look to them versus what we see on Sideshow.
i just bought this for $770 all the other listings i saw got sold instantly that were for $620 up to $775 so i had to get this on before it sold, would you say i got a decent price it is brand new i been wanting an obi wan for quite some time i just want a fellow collector response because everyone else would im insane; great review btw:)
I use large standard black non-latex gloves. I would link these to you, but these are actually terrible. I just put in an order for a new box, so I’ll let you know if those are any better. 😄
