I respect how hard Mr Nelson works on his films and that he’s protective of them but I have heard him say that other films suck many times on this podcast but if someone says that his film sucks he gets all butthurt…what’s that all about? This isn’t meant to be a dig at him or anything. I appreciate all the hard work both you guys do for us fans…just curious why it’s okay for him to say other films suck but it’s not okay to say his film sucks. And that isn’t even a dig at his effects work. His work is always amazing. If I’m missing something here let me know 🤟💀

someone needs co call out chris on his bullshit sometimes, many comments over halloween kills about the trailer not showing too much, his comments about fans wanting myers doing the original walk or getting the walk right, he basically laughed and said or maybe just have the guy walk and laughed about the fact fans actually care about how myers walks, guys with that opinion should not be working on such movies when things like that which are so important to fans are just a joke to him, then to compare exorcist believer to thanksgiving seems like full on jealousy. exorcist was trying to be a full on horror movie based off a all time classic, was his work good on it yes, was the movie good in any way, no it failed in every aspect, bringinging back ellen was just a corny attempt to shoehorn her in to a movie which is awful in hopes she can sell a few tickets, it was awful accept it, thanksgiving was a throwaway slasher that was suppose to be a fun easy to watch slasher comedy and it was fine and much more rewatchable then exorcist. it succeeded in what it was trying to be while exorcist failed miserably in everything it was suppose to be and that director should never be allowed near those type of movies again, sean just smiles but i get the feeling he agrees, call him out and be honest about it. if he does not care or have the passion to make a halloween movie that fans all care about then stop doing them stay away from them. please stop licking this guys ass over rubbish films he is working on. absolutely destroyed the halloween franchise and done a good job making a mockery of the exorcist. thanksgiving is better get over it. it hit what it as suppose to hit. sean call this dude out when he talks shit please

lol dude Motley was always my favourite band growing up and I got sucked into that same show in 2015 that was their “final tour“ lol it’s just totally ridiculous how many final tours they’ve had…and poor Mick jeez. Firstly, let me just say that Christopher’s comparison between “The Exorcist: Believer” and “Thanksgiving” is oddly telling. After all, “Thanksgiving” is goofy because that’s what it’s shooting for: a horror comedy. So, is he implying that’s what “The Exorcist: Believer” is, as well? Because I was under the impression that it was supposed to be solely a horror film (despite its inherit goofiness). Secondly, I love Christopher, and there is no denying that he does phenomenal work. Somebody should DEFINITELY be embarrassed about “The Exorcist: Believer”, but it certainly isn’t him. As bad as the movie is, all of his special effects work delivered just as it always does!
Loved Saw X but I'm a Saw fan and found it better than the last couple films. So I enjoyed that one. Barbie...I didn't get it either, Chris. It did make me laugh once or twice but I found it very mediocre outside of Margot and Gosling's castings. I watched Thanksgiving and loved that! Didn't offer anything new but it gave me what I wanted. As far as Exorcist Believer goes, I actually really liked it! And I honestly wasn't expecting to ONLY because I just didn't see what you could do with an Exorcist requel in terms of story. Had no doubts about your FX work (I even messaged Chris after I saw it, telling him how much I enjoyed it) so well done to the whole team on that one!

We should all be so lucky to have tales to tell of being set on fire by Tom Savini. And as with Halloween, there's no shame in doing great makeup for mediocre films. Like Michael Cain said of Jaws 4 "I've never seen the movie, but I've seen the house it bought" I agree Thanksgiving was pretty meh and failed to live up to it's grindhouse origins, but Exorcist Believer went from "actually not bad" to "almost intentionally tanking the movie" once Ellen Burnstein shows up. If you're going to throw down a sequel to The Exorcist, it's best not to bring cringe not seen since Black Christmas 2019. But hey, love to you both.
Awesome show as always guys. I thought of a "get off my lawn"... Pizza commercials that show someone taking a fresh slice of pizza from a freshly cooked pie and as they pull the slice the cheese is melted and stretching 3 feet and pulling all of the cheese of the neighboring slices of pizza. Nobody does that! Any normal person would try to slice through the cheese or let it cool down so it doesn't ruin the other slices. At least that's how I do it. GET OFF MY LAWN! 😂🤘🏽🎃🔪

Sean, I agree with you about The Killing. Fantastic show. Another similar show I really like and highly recommend is The Fall starring Gillian Anderson and Jamie Dornan. It focuses on the life of a serial killer and a female detective trying to catch him. It’s pretty creepy and disturbing. I’ve recently seen Godzilla: Minus One in theaters three times, and it’s by far the best movie I’ve seen in 2023 along with Saw X & The Holdovers (we’ll see how Ferrari holds up since I’ll be seeing that on Tuesday). And along with Shin Godzilla, they’re both the best films of the recent Reiwa era and the entire franchise as a whole. If either of you both and/or everyone else in the comments section haven’t seen it yet, I highly recommend it.

Last time I was there was July 19’. Done all the Romero ‘Dead’ sights while I was there. It was a real pilgrimage for me to travel there and finally see Monroeville, Evens City cemetery and the museum before it was moved to the mall. I’ll have to go back sometime soon ! I wanted the Six Million Dollar Man doll for Christmas too, but my Dad had already bought us Action Man dolls. So he told me and my brother that there had been a fire at Santa's factory and all the Six Million Dollar Man dolls had been burnt to a crisp and he showed me some BS newspaper story to back it up. I bought it and got the Action Man doll on Christmas Day. One Christmas Eve in my childhood, my Dad asked if I wanted to leave alcohol out for Santa. I agreed but said to only leave a little as I was afraid I'd wake up on Christmas morning and see Santa drunkenly circling over our house in his sleigh.

Firstly, let me just say that Christopher’s comparison between “The Exorcist: Believer” and “Thanksgiving” is oddly telling. After all, “Thanksgiving” is goofy because that’s what it’s shooting for: a horror comedy. So, is he implying that’s what “The Exorcist: Believer” is, as well? Because I was under the impression that it was supposed to be solely a horror film (despite its inherit goofiness).
Secondly, I love Christopher, and there is no denying that he does phenomenal work. Somebody should DEFINITELY be embarrassed about “The Exorcist: Believer”, but it certainly isn’t him. As bad as the movie is, all of his special effects work delivered just as it always does!
Loved Saw X but I'm a Saw fan and found it better than the last couple films. So I enjoyed that one.
Barbie...I didn't get it either, Chris. It did make me laugh once or twice but I found it very mediocre outside of Margot and Gosling's castings.
I watched Thanksgiving and loved that! Didn't offer anything new but it gave me what I wanted.
As far as Exorcist Believer goes, I actually really liked it! And I honestly wasn't expecting to ONLY because I just didn't see what you could do with an Exorcist requel in terms of story. Had no doubts about your FX work (I even messaged Chris after I saw it, telling him how much I enjoyed it) so well done to the whole team on that one!

We should all be so lucky to have tales to tell of being set on fire by Tom Savini. And as with Halloween, there's no shame in doing great makeup for mediocre films. Like Michael Cain said of Jaws 4 "I've never seen the movie, but I've seen the house it bought" I agree Thanksgiving was pretty meh and failed to live up to it's grindhouse origins, but Exorcist Believer went from "actually not bad" to "almost intentionally tanking the movie" once Ellen Burnstein shows up. If you're going to throw down a sequel to The Exorcist, it's best not to bring cringe not seen since Black Christmas 2019. But hey, love to you both.

Pizza commercials that show someone taking a fresh slice of pizza from a freshly cooked pie and as they pull the slice the cheese is melted and stretching 3 feet and pulling all of the cheese of the neighboring slices of pizza. Sean, I agree with you about The Killing. Fantastic show. Another similar show I really like and highly recommend is The Fall starring Gillian Anderson and Jamie Dornan. It focuses on the life of a serial killer and a female detective trying to catch him. It’s pretty creepy and disturbing.

I’ve recently seen Godzilla: Minus One in theaters three times, and it’s by far the best movie I’ve seen in 2023 along with Saw X & The Holdovers (we’ll see how Ferrari holds up since I’ll be seeing that on Tuesday). And along with Shin Godzilla, they’re both the best films of the recent Reiwa era and the entire franchise as a whole. If either of you both and/or everyone else in the comments section haven’t seen it yet, I highly recommend it.

Last time I was there was July 19’. Done all the Romero ‘Dead’ sights while I was there. I wanted the Six Million Dollar Man doll for Christmas too, but my Dad had already bought us Action Man dolls. So he told me and my brother that there had been a fire at Santa's factory and all the Six Million Dollar Man dolls had been burnt to a crisp and he showed me some BS newspaper story to back it up. I bought it and got the Action Man doll on Christmas Day. One Christmas Eve in my childhood, my Dad asked if I wanted to leave alcohol out for Santa. I agreed but said to only leave a little as I was afraid I'd wake up on Christmas morning and see Santa drunkenly circling over our house in his sleigh.
