Great video! Do insurance companies automatically pay the benefit each month or quarter or do you need to submit a claim? I'm an RDA coming from Oral Surgery and general to Ortho.😮 TIA!

It depends on the insurance company, as I am sure you know from oral surgery (I was an oral surgeon assistant in college… I bet you will love Orthodontics!) every company and even the policies within the same company can vary. Many of our insurance companies do pay automatic, but we still send in monthly claims.

Insurance is ridiculously confusing... I need dental and ortho for ADULTS🤣 an individual plan... I need a root canal and invisalign but can't find a plan that covers an adult🤷🏽‍♀️

Yeah, it really does stink sometimes. I usually tell people if you have an insurance option through your work it is often worth it but to buy an individual policy with the needed benefits usually carries a high premium. You can end up paying insurance almost as much as they are paying your doctor. I’d see if the endodontist and orthodontist would give you a courtesy and then just get on a payment plan with them. I hope this all worked out for you(since I’m late to replying)
