6:53 Will Man City stay on top post Pep Guardiola and KDB!?
Manchester United just beat Manchester City in the FA Cup Final. This next season could be Pep Guardiola's last season at Manchester City. Man City could also be losing some other key players like Bernardo Silva and Kevin de Bruyne soon!

Once Pep leaves, City will go back to being a mediocre club. I could see them being a club like PSG or Chelsea. Just bribe players with money to sign for them.

Never knew anyone could be this stupid. Be this foolish. This level of stupidity is unreal. Pep don’t play the matches. City players do. City will dominate for years and years. Dream all you want but that’s the truth. Madrid have had countless coaches and they’re still winning champions league trophies. Zidane left and ancellotti won it with Madrid. Doesn’t matter who coaches city for the next 10 years. City players will still turn up

Josko Gvardiol (22), Manuel Akanji (28), Jérémy Doku (22), Phil Foden (24), Halaand (23), Julián Álvarez (24) and Rodri (27) that's still a great core of young players. Now they need to get rid of Jack Grealish and find a cheaper home grown talent because that's a must have.
Now if they can get Jeremie Frimpong (23) who can play RB, RWB or RW this season and Florian Wirtz (21) next season they would be the team to beat in the EPL for the next 4 seasons after next.

I don't understand why people think that it's acceptable for a "world class striker" and a Ballon Dor contender to ghost in almost every big game that he plays in. Nobody is denying his goalscoring ability and Erling Haaland is probably the only player who gets criticized for being so good which is putting the ball in the back of the net, in semifinals and finals for Manchester City 0 goals and 0 assists. Blanked against Real Madrid (UCL in both seasons), Manchester United (FA Cup final back to back seasons) even though he has a brilliant record against them in the premier league, Arsenal, Liverpool and Inter Milan and there's more. People will say that Manchester City don't play to his strengths and he's a decoy in their team meaning that his presence opens up space for the other creative players on the team to flourish, when they're not at their best, Haaland isn't the one producing if he doesn't get the ball, you're not seeing a lot out of him and this is a problem that cannot be ignored and it gets to a point where we have to stop making excuses. There are too many games where he's a passenger when he's not scoring and we see this in almost every big game.
He has gone missing in too many big games and doesn't always push this team over the finish line and while at City, he's more of a finisher, they don't expect him to be involved in the buildup play as his game relies more on crosses into the box and through balls. He is a traditional number 9 who can't be impactful unless they have the ball and he plays in a team full of stars in a Guardiola system along with a lot of creators. Other defenders know how to nullify him and Haaland can't affect the game since he's not a great dribbler, his passing and holdup play, the less said about it the better and why are Manchester City fans upset that Roy Keane called him a League Two player. Not just against Manchester United, his limitations are constantly being exposed. He wasn't criticizing him for scoring a lot of goals, he said what everyone knows which is that his general play overall is very poor. There's some areas in his game that he doesn't need, he can be a complete footballer while also maintaining his output in front of goal. No matter how many goals a season he scores, I don't see him winning a Ballon Dor unless that area of his game improves especially when Kevin De Bruyne leaves that football club in the next 18 months. If goals are the only thing a player is good at, then the top goalscorer in Europe should be winning the Ballon Dor every year then. He can score 30-40+ goals a season and that's what he's so good at, but he already wins an award for his goalscoring ability which is the Golden Boot and that's a separate achievement, the Ballon Dor is won for the best footballer in the world not best scorer and this guy would have a Ballon Dor by now if Messi didn't win the World Cup.

Assuming Pep Guardiola leaves Manchester City, I expect them to undergo a lot of changes in the next 12-18 months. Last week, after they won the premier league, he said that in 2025, he's more closer to leaving than staying at City meaning that he'll see out his contract and decide what he'll do from there. I have every feeling that it's his last dance at Manchester City next season and when he leaves, he won't manage another club, he'll probably manage a national team or do what Jurgen Klopp has done after leaving Liverpool which is take a break from coaching enjoy life spend time with your family which is something that he probably wants. As long as he's their manager, they'll always remain the favorites to win the premier league and on paper, Manchester City are the only team that can compete with Real Madrid in the champions league a team that's about to add Mbappe to the squad. The day he leaves City, they'll still be a good team, but that's the day when their dominance in the premier league ends and the league will probably become competitive again.
Many players will face uncertain futures and they already do. Bernardo Silva has been linked to leave that football club every year and I think he'll leave City either this year or next year with Barcelona still interested in signing him, Kevin De Bruyne turns 33 this summer, age is finally catching up with this Belgian maestro and the rumors linking him to Saudi Arabia aren't ending anytime soon, Kyle Walker is also aging, Ederson is on the brink of leaving, how long can they retain Erling Haaland as you can't rule out a future move to Barcelona or Real Madrid who've expressed their interest in him and could go there despite Mbappe being in the team, will they try to keep hold of Rodri and other players. They have a great core of talent for the future Phil Foden Jeremy Doku Julian Alvarez Josko Gvardiol Oscar Bobb Rico Lewis etc, but losing the best core of that team from Pep your manager to KDB and Bernardo, that's going to make them weaker and if that's the case, you'll see a different City team and other teams like Arsenal might close the gap on them. Unless you get a world class manager and even if you do, filling Pep Guardiola's shoes is a difficult task and other teams after losing a legendary manager have found that out, Manchester United: Sir Alex Ferguson, Arsenal: Arsene Wenger until recently, same thing will happen for Liverpool post Klopp. City fans will have to come to terms that Pep's time with the club is coming to an end.

Not sure about that tbh. They have a lot of good players and a really good chemistry within the team. But with Mbappe joining them it might become different, especially with some older players leaving them over the next few years and Ancelotti will also not be around forever. I don't think it is a good idea to bring in Mbappe with his overly huge ego.
As a Milan supporter it hurts to say that but I would watch out at Inter over the next few years. Simone Inzaghi has done a really great job there and won at least one trophy in each season.

Lewandowski also has the tendency not to show up in big matches. He played quite a few Champions League semifinals and one final but when he scored for the last time in one he was still a player of Borussia Dortmund.
