There are 5 Riu Hotels in the Punta Cana Riu resort.
Riu Palaca Bavaro and Riu Palace Punta Cana are the biggest. We stayed at Riu Bavaro which was a great hotel. Riu Palace Punta Cana seems very nice too.
Clubhotel Riu Bambu is a smaller family hotel.
Riu Naiboa was rather small and we did not have access to Riu Macao (which is more of semi-private adults only hotel).
thank you for the info. We stayed in riu palace bavaro too and loved it (amazing food). Maybe Riu Palace Punta Cana would be the next one for us to check out.
I think that's a very good choice. Next time we visit Punta Cana we're gonna check it out too.

I made a videos of the RIU Republica down the road lots of videos if you like to compare resorts.
Alert: why a 5 star hotel like this ignores a accident that happened to me. When I walked by the pool the floor was slippery, there was no sign of wet floor and I slipped and injured my toe and when to the clinic, I had a deep cut and it hurt for a week, the resort managers said it’s a minor accident and it’s not their fault. They don’t reply to minor cases, my mom saw people slipping on wet floors with no wet floor signs and also the waiters stepped on a cockroach at dinner in front of guests. Don’t trust this resort anymore.
The food is good but everything else sucks
