    As a former professional classical musician, my greatest joy came from being able to manifest those monumental works of the greatest musical geniuses humanity has ever produced. I can only imagine what it must feel like to be able to reproduce note-for-note these SD masterpieces. You all have my deepest respect.

      I love Steely Dan very, very much but to call them them the greatest musical geniuses is a bit of a stretch.

      ​@@1957PLATO why's it a stretch? the mode and medium of musical genius shifts through time and they did it about as well as anyone could in their own unique way, musically and lyrically. and it resonates with a lot of people. that's brilliant, plain and simple.

    Im 63 this is what the world is missing great musicians and bands like we use to have,some bands are still around this is a great cover.The records company stopped promoting bands and it screwed up the music industry.

    I used to swear by the Brian Wilde group's covers of Steely Dan. Still do. But these Brooklyn Charmers are incredible!

    Thank you! Steely Dan is the sound track to my life. I was 8 yrs old in 72 when I heard my first Steely Dan song and I was hooked. Thank you for keeping this music alive.

    Steely Dan are reality poets and exceptional musicians than their contemporaries, particularly The Eagles, that sold millions. Steely Dan is the best; Brooklyn Charmers gives justice to their legacy. Great cover as always. Thanks.

    A new line up but still sounding great. I won't use all the audiophile mumbo jumbo and just say it was well worth piping it through my 3000 watt system so the whole neighborhood could hear it.

    How? How the hell can anyone cover Aja and make it sound so painfully awesome?! This is incredible. Grinning ear to ear. I did not hear the famous Steve Gadd stick-click, however, so I'm a bit suspicious of THAT, but maybe I just missed it! Going to Patreon riiiight about now.

    When I last saw Becker & Fagen in Aug. 2013 at Troutdale, Oregon's Edgefield Amphitheater, I could not believe that this magnum opus was the 2nd song on their setlist. That's when you know you have a very deep catalog of great songs. You all have honored the original "Aja" musicians magnificently here.

    When this album came out I got it along with other by joining a record club. You know, 8 choices and a membership for a small fee. I was 16 and liked "Peg". I remember putting the album on and hearing "Aja" for the first time...transported. The whole album is perfect, but "Aja" is sublime.

    Easily the most Mysterious and Difficult Steely Dan Sound to Cover, and you guys just NAIL it! Lyrical, with Precision and Nuance and inter Woven Jazz Notes.....Bravo! Bravo! Horn and Drums did not disappoint! The Real Gem to the Track! Kudos to the Max!
