If God says he forgets our sins, throws them in the sea of forgetfulness and remembers them no more So why should one remember them and announce them. The past is forgiven and behold God has made a new thing. You and your spouse are a brand new slate. That’s the litmus test. Now if it’s a sin you are still harboring then your spouse should know or if they asked you something regards to it then you should always speak the truth. We tend to rehash, reference our pasts when God says Forget the past behold I have made all things new. We are new creations when we receive Christ.
