I was blind previously, thinking God to be an egomaniac and bigoted taskmaster esp after seeing Rev 4:11 that all things were created "for His pleasure". But having experienced His grace and love, l now understand that without His moment-by-moment watchcare and sustenance, we would have been long lost. May the Holy Spirit keep us all rooted in Christ, for nothing pleases God more than for us to have an abiding relationship with Him.
I love what you have said here: the more we read His word, the more we get confident and eloquent in His word, we pray more for forgiveness for our sins and those of others. The more we worship Him with all respect and reverence because He is after all, GOD

How can any human ask the question of 'what has God done for me'? Our very breath is a gift, our beating heart is a gift, our daily food is a gift! All these are daily gifts of God. His son's sacrifice on the cross for we sinners is God's gift of love to us. How then can we ask the question, 'what has God done for me'?

That's good not to marry those that aren't Christian or of the same faith. Paul warns about this. But to NOT marry just because they're not Adventist, that's not biblical. A lot of the things Adventists believe are traditional and there are things they hold to that are not in the bible, and not set in stone. I do believe that people have allowed sin to enter the church, but do you guys know why? It's because the Adventist teaching has gone right along with the other protestant religions. The penal substitution is one of the teachings that is very unbiblical. I don't agree with the Catholic church, except on this one point. How can God punish God?? If Jesus is our substitute, and is punished for our sin, we can just keep sinning blindly. We don't have to be held to a higher standard. Look into the difference between design law, the law of love, the law of liberty, and the law of worship, versus laws imposed by human beings. This is teachings by the seventh day Adventist Tim Jennings.

To those who do lots more than just attend church..like serious bible study and sharing...the obvious reason for the Numb & Dumb is pathetic training of the SDA pastors & Sabbath School teachers. I never had, from an SDA pastor, any training to teach sabbath school or how to preach a sermon as a guest speaker. What I got was from competent SUNday pastors. Even a couple of SDA pastors that I rub shoulders with know how pathetic & "innocuous" the teaching approaches and content are. Think on this...why do churches have to spend time & money on revival meeting, services? Can't the pastor keep the crowd fired up???The whole educational system is a mess. Churches pull people in with bible rich Dan & Revelation seminars and then the follow up is giving a cold shoulder to new members and the pastor chews them out with the rest of the crowd for being sabbath slacking, tithe robbing, love lacking, lazy , lousy ,lukewarm LAODICEAN losers!! That's good not to marry those that aren't Christian or of the same faith. Paul warns about this. But to NOT marry just because they're not Adventist, that's not biblical. A lot of the things Adventists believe are traditional and there are things they hold to that are not in the bible, and not set in stone. I do believe that people have allowed sin to enter the church, but do you guys know why? It's because the Adventist teaching has gone right along with the other protestant religions. The penal substitution is one of the teachings that is very unbiblical. I don't agree with the Catholic church, except on this one point. How can God punish God?? If Jesus is our substitute, and is punished for our sin, we can just keep sinning blindly. We don't have to be held to a higher standard. Look into the difference between design law, the law of love, the law of liberty, and the law of worship, versus laws imposed by human beings. This is teachings by the seventh day Adventist Tim Jennings.
