Agreed, the pressure of pleasing the crowd isnt a burden. Theyre just spitting dope shit and having a great time while maintaining a competitive attitude during their rounds. This way of battling is very entertaining.

This scene is exactly how I first experienced battle rap. Sitting at a house party drinking with my friends battling funny shit and everybody laughing and having a good time. One of the best battles I've ever watched just based of nostalgia. Had me laughing my ass off!

He didnt give up. At some point you need to move on to expand your legacy. Nobody wants to be known as that battle rapper for 2 decades

This is a FUN battle. Like when you get your mates over and just say 'fuck it, let's battle rap'. Sure, some of their lines, especially Rone's, were serious and hard-hitting, but they all looked like they were having the time of their lives here. This is the friendliest, most casual battle I've ever seen, and it's probably my favourite because of it.

Great battle. Probably one of the greatest, in a long time. No trash crowd messing it up, friendly, yet the friendliness didn't dull the competitive spirit between 'em, and they both were sharp. Props to both. The fans, won this one. Thanks, KOTD. Maybe you guys should consider doing more of these basement battles where the crowd is the battle rappers? I know you gotta keep the cash flow going, but if you're willing to compromise a bit, you'll still pull in new blood while keeping the old blood, around.

Rone has everything I look for in a battler. Consistency, hard punches, killer wordplay, good stage presence, sportsmanship, comedy, and real shit. Definitely my favorite since I've been listening to him.
With that said, he won 3-0. Clearly. Not taking anything from Marv tho, he came with bars

Rone went in this battle for some reason one of my favorite performances from him he really showed a championship mentality went harder than anyone that battled in that basement with little prep and talked real shit at the end his approach in the beginning was hilarious just shows how talented he can be with no pressure woulda been easy for him to half ass it in that environment and spit some super light shit but he showed how much drive he has regardless the stakes in a era where cats get 15 gs and spit mixtape verses I Fuk with the hunger

but Marv needs to speed up / change his tempo sometime , switch the flow up , pen game & performance always on point but if he switched up patterns , cadence & flow sometimes would be serious problem

Rone Vs Hollow would be sick. Rone is pretty witty when he wants to be, and he has a manageable flow with a lot of humour behind his lines. I was never a Rone fan from the get, but he's come around full circle into a solid emcee and with his latest consistency, I think he might be able to beat Hollow. I guess we'll just wait and see if it goes down and observe the outcome. I really hope he chooses to battle Rone instead of Stay (most likely it will be Rone).
